Wait. I thought POTUS Trump would be Impeached in 2019 when the Rats take back the House and the Senate.
If that happens, the Country will be begging Romney to become the new POTUS in 2020 instead of VP Mike Pence.
The Rats are only defending half their Senate Seats this time around. The wind is at their backs I tell ya...
Sorry, Mitt is no danger to anyone. The “Dump Trump” movement will die a slow death as the economy improves. He will be a replacement for John McCain wing of the Party (Rino).

Any “deal” will show weakness on Trumps part. He should know by now that the Dems are not to be trusted. Period.
IMHO..No deal on DACA, withhold foreign aid to Mexico, and use the money to fund the wall. Cutoff benefits to illegals, and count noses as they self deport.
Trump rode into town as our last, best hope. If he caves, we’re done..all of us.
Romney need not be allowed to run away with it, if a true Conservative emerges in Utah, who understands how to handle him:
1. You do not do so in an insulting manner. Rather, you praise him as a religious man with a distinguished public career; but quietly point out his failure to effectively oppose Obama, and the latter's eight year war against values sacred to most Utahans. Treat it simply as part of an understandable mellowing, which comes either with age or excessive politeness--or whatever.
2. You heap faint praise on him as an elder statesman, while attacking the Obaman legacy with all of the fire & vitriol that you carefully avoid in any direct reference to Romney. In other words, you showcase your superiority, while showing only deference to the weaker candidate.
Romney is as interesting as watching a koala at the zoo.
He is riding the coat tails of his father-—who was President of American Motors when I worked there in 59-61.
Mitt isn’t fit to shine his father’s shoes.
Would rather see Chaffetz run for Hatch seat.
Or the Lady Rep from Utah who is so VERY sharp.

I don’t know - I’m ignorant of Utah politics other than everyone saying if Mittens runs, he’s a ‘shoe-in’ because of the Mormon vote.
It depends on what he gets in return. As I indicated, the majority of Americans believe that the DACA recipients should be allowed to stay. It is the reason why the Dems selected the Dreamers as the camel's nose under the tent. They are the most sympathetic group when it comes to amnesty.

We provide very little aid to Mexico. It is insignificant. The way to go is to attach a surcharge to the $26 billion a year that goes to Mexico from the US in the form of remittances, i.e., Mexicans in the US sending money back home.
Most of the benefits to illegals comes thru their US born anchor babies.

Agree. But as long as Stephen Miller and Sessions remain on his team, there won't be caving. There may be deals that get things done we have been trying to do for many years.

He displayed a tremendous ability to lose by losing to an Obamamination in 2012.
There is no way in hell that he is he going to wrestle the nomination from Trump in 2020.
IIRC, the Mormons have some internal prophecy involving them in control of the white house in the “last days”, or some such crappola.
God how much fun that would be: trolling Romney rallies. I’d have a big “magic underwear” sign. Maybe a huge inflatable Trump dog on the roof of my pickup. Shout “You suck!” loudly from 3 rows back. Make the evening news.
