Schools are closed today because of the cold!
Minus 16???? I’ll take 6 thanks! Stay warm, my friend!
I wish I didn’t have to go out, but Mr S and I have to go to work. Wish I was retired............
Hello,
Someone on this thread had inside news on the Pittsburgh radio scene.
Wondering if anyone knows what, if anything will replace WKQV?
Good morning and Happy (chilly) New Year to all!
This is my first day back to work in over two weeks. Not sure how I will handle it.
Prisoner6 used to work in the radio business. Maybe he’ll check in later!
Good morning and Happy New Year!
Yup, COLD here! 6 degrees. Hope everyone is doing well.
KQV went to auction Thursday...NO sale. It went dark with the new year. Doubt it will come back. http://www.pbrtv.com/ has more info.
All our indoor Christmas decorations are down. NYE leftovers on the deck and I want to put new wiper blades on mrs p6s van so I will be outside.
What a shame....any word from Jim or Rush..
Back at work today as well. Mr S and I are taking a week off from Jan 15th through 19th. Odd time of year, but we both need a break! We plan on going NOWHERE except to stop in to visit his parents - both in their mid/late 80’s - to see if they need anything.
My New Years resolution: Get rid of JUNK! We have too much ‘stuff’ around here and since the kids are living with us, and we are using only 3 rooms plus the bathroom, (son and family are using the rest of this big house) we realize we can live with a lot less!
I hear you about the junk. I have tons in my garage and basement that I also “resolve” to get rid of, one way or another. When it warms up, I think I’ll set up at the flea market a few weekends.
