Yup. Oregon State Police caught a couple of H’mong that flew to NV, entered CA, and drove up through OR with 200 lbs of weed , on the way back to MN. Estimates are that OR overproduced 1.8 million pounds, last year. Apparently, overproduction isn’t even a possibility in CA.

“Apparently, overproduction isn’t even a possibility in CA.”

No matter how much is grown in CA, the state has no idea how much of it is legal, nor which batch is legal.

All they know is which GROW is legal.

Once it’s trimmed buds they state has no idea where it came from. It’s fungible.

Confusing matter further, medical co-ops can continue to grow up to six plants for every member of the co-op...in very, very large grows. That weed goes to the very same retail outlets as the “recreational” weed.

And with cops not being able to search a car or truck because they smell raw pot, it moves freely throughout the state. But they most definitely WILL search if they smell burnt pot.

So, people in the business here, if they are able to refrain from smoking during transport, move and sell pot by the ton. All cash. Blackmarket, legal, doesn’t matter.

Like I said, nothing changes.
