I think I have flu, Headache, fever (101), chills, body ache.
Now should I go to work, any idea whether I am infectious, today is 1st day with these symptoms.

If you are running a fever this morning you should stay home, probably will not even want to get out at all.

Drink lots of fluid.

This flu is really nasty, makes me want to just stay home and away from people but need to go to the store.

If it came on suddenly, call your doctor. Perhaps a prescription for Tamaflu can help you. If you wait more than 24 (36?) hours, it cannot help. With my usual hoping-it-will-go-away method, when I had the flu a few years ago, I did not call the doctor until it was too late for Tamaflu to help. The actual flu is very different from a cold. It is debilitating for quite some time.

Sorry to hear your not feeling well Tweety. I have had a cold for several days but not a fever as you and no headache. You perhaps have the flu and need something perhaps to help kick it. Your insurance should pay for it as I hear its quite expensive but good. Please rest and take care of yourself. Prayers for your quick recovery.
