But while Trump & Co. went to war against the press, we went to work, to paraphrase Post Executive Editor Martin Baron. Without that work, the public would probably not know about: former national security adviser Michael Flynn’s contacts with the Russians; Donald Trump Jr.’s “I love it” meeting with a Russian lawyer peddling dirt on Hillary Clinton, and the president’s efforts to mislead people about the event; Trump’s description of fired FBI director James B. Comey as a “nut job” in a meeting with Russian officials in which he also divulged highly classified information. The list goes on.

Donald Trump Jr.’s “I love it” meeting with a Russian lawyer peddling dirt on Hillary Clinton ...

This story from the media wasn't a report that was developed through solid investigative journalism. This information had already been turned over to the Mueller team by Donald Trump Jr., who complied with the letter of the law in doing so. The story was broken in the media because this information -- which was supposed to remain confidential while the investigation was ongoing -- was leaked to the media.

So if Ruth Marcus wants to pat herself on the back for breaking stories like this, she should also admit that these media reports during 2017 did tremendous damage to the credibility of the media, the Mueller investigation, and the entire U.S. Department of Justice. The whole facade has come off all these institutions that have been exposed as nothing more than a low-rent political apparatus.

Truth be told?

There is a market for her work.

A large enough market that gets her and many others paid very well to spout superficial diatribes to an audience of eager zombies that are scared to death of reality.

These people reinforce their insecurities in a giant circle jerk of self affirming cluelessness.

They promote and celebrate stupidity as virtue that must be considered worthy and respected and if you/we don’t?

We are the enemy.

The danger is not that these writers have a platform.

The danger is that they have an audience that is willing to set aside all logic and basic understanding of human nature in order to advance some post-Modernist, neo-Marxist idea of how things should be.

Conservatives would be wise not to underestimate these people. It’s easy to suggest that their logic and reason is flawed and therefore it will never amount to anything.

Just consider what they have achieved to date.

The Anti-American indoctrination in our public school system.

The Balkanization of our populace into victim groups.

The over sexualization of the youth from K to 12 and the promotion of gender dysphoria.

Moral relativism.

Cultural relativism.

Anti-Capitalism.

A P.C. culture in virtually every aspect of our society that seeks to destroy all opposition to their feelings.

Trump may be winning now, but we are a long way from victory.

“Mother of two high-quality individuals and one misbehaving dog.”

I guess that proves that she is indeed a BITCH. Can she bark like Hillary?
