Is NBC News sending a not so subtle message to its viewers and, especially, to its correspondents on the true state of the much touted Trump-Russia collusion investigation? One has to ask this question because, remarkably, NBC News published a column by Loyola Law School professor Jessica Levinson that asked about the possibility of a collusion charge and answered it in Will President Trump be charged with collusion in 2018? Not a chance:

No hacker is going to “sign his work”. That would be idiotic. The best hack is one which leaves no evidence of ever having occurred. Even better is the hack which allows continued surveillance of the server unbeknown to the owner of the server.

Trump will not be charged with any actual crime, but with obstruction of justice (for a non-existent crime). This was always the objective.

Since collusion is not a crime, NBC news is basically admitting that the Mueller appointment was purely political.
It was never about prosecuting Trump, persecuting, yes, but not prosecuting. It was all about destroying evidence and running out the clock so as to prevent prosecution of hillary and the deep state traitors.
Doesn’t mean Mueller is going away anytime soon. He has now focused his attention on possible Obstruction of Justice charges, and Logan act violations, instead. Hopefully those forthcoming reports from Congress and the DOJ OIG will result in a special prosecutor to investigate the special prosecutor, although Sessions may need to go before it can be appointed.

Let's be clear, the Russian "interference" was a handful of Russian social media bloggers. The real "interference" comes from fake news and our own MSM.
