FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe testified before the House Intelligence Committee that former FBI Director James Comey told him about conversations he had with President Trump, including Trump’s request for loyalty, according to a new report.
CNN reports that McCabe told lawmakers during his testimony this week that Comey told him about conversations he had with Trump after they occurred.
McCabe told the committee that Comey also told him about Trump’s request for loyalty, according to CNN’s Manu Raju.
During his testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee in June, Comey said that Trump asked him for his loyalty during a January dinner at the White House.
"I need loyalty. I expect loyalty," Trump said, according to Comey.
Comey said he didn't respond to Trump's request, but the president returned to the subject later in the dinner, again repeating that he needed loyalty. Ultimately, Comey allowed that Trump would get "honesty loyalty" from him.
Trump has disputed Comey’s account of the conversation, saying he never asked Comey for his loyalty.
The revelation could mean McCabe can corroborate Comey's account of the conversation.
McCabe faced a nearly eight-hour grilling from the House Intelligence Committee this week as Republicans ramp up their charges that the FBI, Justice Department and special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigative team are biased against Trump.

First, this is text book heresay. Second, what does that even mean, “loyalty?” Loyalty like, “hey, I know you worked for Obama but I may have some different priorities and your loyalty shoul lie with me, the administration you now serve.”
Third, note the hot pivot to obstruction of justice. No collusion evidence exists but let’s keep the coup going by alleging obstruction of an investigation that should never have happened in the first place.

Every FBI director needs to be loyal to the president he serves... If he can’t commit to that loyalty, he should pack his bags and leave... Or be fired. Apparently Comey was not offering his loyalty and he was obviously not packing his bags... That it itself was enough reason for Trump to fire him.
And this crap is hearsay.
McCabe and his wife took a loyalty pledge to ClintonF,
to protect U transfer to Russia and ISIS,
and to protect nuclear transfers to NClownKorea.
McCabe KNEW Seth RIch was to be slaughtered.
Did both McCabes also know in advance?
What is so hard to understand? Trump knew that there was a high level conspiracy against him. He wanted assurance that Comey had his back. Every CEO in this country demands that from his key employees.
This is the best that Schiff can leak after 8 hours of McCabe testimony. Rehashing of a months old story through the hearsay of a tainted witness. The guy is desperate. The Republicans have leaked nothing and this slimy little worm
can only come up with this nonsense!
Exactly! All McCabe can verify is what he witnessed, and all he witnessed was Comey claiming something to him.
