Imagine being the only conservative in a nursing home in Berkeley, hoping that your child will come and visit you once in a while.
Do you know someone in that circumstance ?
It would be a kindness to visit or arrange visits.

It would be wonderful if people could take time to visit those in assisted living and nursing homes. So few people do visit.
The saddest story I ever heard was about a woman who was taken to a nursing home by her son. He promised to return to have dinner with her that night. He never returned that night or any time after that.
