Polls: No Republicans Will Qualify for Governor, Senate Races in California
Breitbart ^ | 12/21/2017 | adelle nazarian

A new poll from Berkeley’s Institute of Government Studies suggests that no Republicans will make it onto the ballot for the key races in the 2018 general election in the deep blue state of California.

According to the poll, Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom and former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, both Democrats, are the two most likely candidates to make it past the June top-two or “jungle” primary, which allows the top-two vote-getters to proceed regardless of political party.

Newsom also leads Villaraigosa slightly among African-American and Asian voters. Both men are tied at 25 percent among millennial voters.

Meanwhile, in the Senate race, incumbent Democrat Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) leads State Senate President Pro Tem Kevin de León (D-Los Angeles). Feinstein has 41 percent support among likely voters, while de Leoón has just 27 percent.

California is a beautiful state, the largest state in America!

Conservatives would be foolish to abandon and write off California.

Foolish!!!!

The CA GOP needs to rebuild. CA GOP needs people like Chris Cox, Ann Coulter!!!

Why would you abandon CA?

Yes, there is an influx of third world immigrants in CA, but fight for every vote.

If the CA GOP can appeal to black voters and swing voters, they could make CA competitive.

DON’T GIVE UP ON CALIFORNIA

YOU WILL REGRET IT

Bush contested CA in 2000 and 2004....if Bush had won CA over Gore by appealing to conservatives outside of the Los Angeles suburbs and Orange County, that would offset the liberal votes in LA/Hollywood

Contest California-—or regret it.

Trump and Pence should at least recruit candidates in California for God’s sake....

If the Democrats can win in red state Alabama....why can’t Republicans win in California......

Forget about demographics....appeal to every CA voter...

Open field offices in Los Angeles, San Francisco, etc.......

If conservatives in CA were smart, they’d recruit Michael Savage for Senate or governor.....

I think your post (and the topic it addresses) deserves its own thread.

What a good idea. It might encourage people to visit a hospital or nursing home during the holidays.

Too late tonight but it's a plan!

We used to hear “disenfranchised” all the time. Until it was/is conservatives disenfranchised to even have a choice.

I live and vote in CA, and as I’m sure you know, last election we had the choice of Loretta Sanchez or Kamala Harris for Senate. Great.

I believe Democrats in Maryland submitted a bill to change the election process to match California.

Are you joking ? A lot of Whites in California have aided the turn towards a totalitarian Fascist-Communist feudal dystopia. The rich love to vote leftist ‘cuz it makes ‘em feel all warm and fuzzy. They use their $$ to insulate themselves from their sick policies they foist on everyone else. It’s going to take the wrath of The Almighty God to scare the nutters straight again.

I agree. And what I said, it may be balderdash for all I know. I try to think logically about matters, but I may be way off base. I just don’t know.

Be sure at least one of the attorney’s is a Conservative.

I also wonder if one of the national Conservative activist law firms we hear about from time to time, might not be a good resource on this. I think some good projects, they do pro bono.

I would also suggest that you never know what the ACLU’s take on this might be.

Every once in a blue moon, they do take a decent case. It couldn’t hurt to ask. The pro bono aspects of them taking the case might be good.

Here I’d use them as a very last resort. Who knows if they would really work the case, or simply bury it to defeat the effort before it got very far.

What a treat... the Communist, philandering, racist open-borders bitch who committed voter fraud against Bob Dornan or the Stalinist, philandering, racist open-borders, lawless bitch who rode Willie Brown’s **** to power.

“CA has perfected the one party state.”

With the help of the entrails of what used to be the CAGOP.

“It will have to get incredibly bad here for this to change, so there’s really no point in wailing about it.”

The only good news is is that the RATs will bankrupt the state faster by themselves than would have otherwise been the case. Going broke, is probably the only way for CA to recover. Politically, it’s like Venezuela, the only difference being CA still has a decent private sector.

The GOP agreed to it here. These feckless turds, gave away our voting rights.

Years ago, I had to work out there for about 3 months.
I will admit: there are some very beautiful spots to visit there. Their politics policies and laws, however, just outright suck. It was so bad, I finally had to quit the company I worked for and come home to find other work to get out. Let’s just say there are not enough horses in all of Texas to drag me back to that commie hellhole.

Kalifornia is like a Mexican-liberal state. Mexicans are In Charge. It is kind of lost, though life goes on as usual. Wonder how we get it back.

You nailed it Hispanics are the largest group in Califrnia and we are seeing what our imigration system that lets tons of mexicans in (who vote 70% Democrat) will do to every state if it is not stopped.

“Unless the borders are sealed tight and soon, this is the fate that awaits the entire country.”

Ding ding, ding, we have a winnah! And Texas is close on the list to follow CA, except the tick turds there are either too proud or too stupid to see it coming!
Mexicans will soon push out the remaining “old White guys” just like they are in the final processes of so doing here in CA.

Wonderful, and not just during the holidays. I happen to know many elderly who live (somewhat) independently but love to have visits. Even if it’s just stopping by to say hello, bring dinner, a snack, watch a tv show together, etc.

Thank you, ladyjane, for bringing up this topic. I’m in my 40s, but I have dear friendships with many elders, many of whom are so funny they put todays “comedians” to shame by miles. :) And I do think of those alone in nursing homes; you’ve really brought up a great topic.

God Bless!
