I looked up the numbers for 2015 UN budget. Here's how much the five permanent members of the Security Council paid:

• Russia pays 3% of the UN Budget
• UK pays 4.5% of the UN Budget
• China pays 7.9% of the UN Budget
• France pays 4.9% of the UN Budget
• USA pays 22% of the UN Budget

Clearly we are disproportionately paying for this rogues gallery of villainy and scum. Were I President I would average the amount paid by the other four nations and say "that's all we're paying".

If I’ve calculated right, in terms of aa country’s GDP, Russia and China are underpaying and the UK and France are paying a higher percent of their GDP than the US is.
