FBI Damage Control and Justification Part II – CoIntel Agent Peter Strzok’s Turn…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 12/18/17 | sundance

(snip) -- The previous effort at justification and damage control over the FBI counterintelligence operation to spy on presidential candidate Donald Trump was likely courtesy of FBI Asst. Director of Counterintelligence E.W. “Bill” Priestap.

The latest effort at justification comes directly from anti-Trump FBI Counterintelligence Agent Peter Strzok; claiming the ‘insurance policy’ statement was to protect candidate Donald Trump, not to defend the republic against him. :::insert eyeroll here:::

(snip) -- The Wall Street Journal, citing individuals familiar Peter Strzok’s message, said the agent did not mean to indicate that there was a plan to damage Trump. Strzok’s message, instead, was intended to mean that Trump could win the election, and therefore the probe “couldn’t afford to take a more measured approach,” the newspaper said.

It was reported that Bruce Ohr skipped out on his hearing Monday, but now Fox News reports that it was the committee that asked to postpone the appearance until later this week because of newly revealed documents.

Hmmmm.

...claiming the ‘insurance policy’ statement was to protect candidate Donald Trump, not to defend the republic against him.

The new nonsense.

The old nonsense was that Strzok and Page were concealing their affair, and avoiding unwanted scrutiny, by pretending to organize an FBI conspiracy of election interference against Trump.

The new nonsense claims their was no FBI "conspiracy" against Trump. It was just the "integrity-filled" FBI, making investigation decisions based on FBI agent political preferences, and campaign polls.

So far the only evidence of "election interference" is the "life insurance" meeting in Deputy Director McCabe's office.

Shut down Mueller and investigate that !

Real easy way to figure this one out.

This is essentially an espionage related investigation and in the post Hansen FBI all agents must submit to polygraph testing on demand as a condition of employment

Stroke was also a member of the Hillary Clinton investigation and Comey forced the agents on that investigation to sign NDAs agreeing to take polygraph tests

Put these clowns on a polygraph and sweat them to find out the truth.

A few may be trained to beat the test but not every one can do that.

I prefer sharp pointed reeds under the fingernails for Strzok.

Well said.

(How about Ohr not being grilled yesterday. As was said, there is supposed to be new crap to be gone through before he is to appear later this week.)

As Rodney Dangerfield used to say, "What a crowd, what a crowd!"

The "Deep State" needs more time so that the myriad and the minutiae
of manufactured misinformation can misdirect the masses call for justice.

Notice how the demotion of Ohr doesn’t align with the justification provided by Strzok. If there was no issue of malicious ‘intent’ against Trump, then why was Bruce Ohr -a central figure in the overall plan- disciplined for meeting with leadership of Fusion GPS Glenn Simpson before and after the election; only AFTER those connections were revealed to the public.
