Three House Republicans are calling on House Speaker Paul Ryan and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi to investigate leaks from the House Intelligence Committee’s investigation into Russian interference in the election.
In particular, the three Republicans, New York Rep. Lee Zeldin, Utah Rep. Mia Love, and Texas Rep. John Ratcliffe, want to find out who leaked confidential information from testimony given earlier this month by Donald Trump Jr.

Big friggen deal......so even if they find out who leaked confidential information, NOTHING will happen to the “leaker’. Expelling them from that “committee” is not a significant penalty, perhaps hitting the leaker with 5-10 years in the slammer and you might get somewhere.

Great point - the answer is - no, if it’s false, it’s not really a leak.
1) Most likely, it was invented by the fake news, disguised as a leak.
2) Far less likely, it was invented by the Chief of Staff, designed to catch a leaker. The COS will feed each cabinet member a slightly different version of a juicy but confidential piece of information as bait in order to narrow down where a leak is. It’s still not a true leak since it is being released on purpose.
