Former President Barack Obama's White House ethics lawyer warned of "taking to the streets" in the case Robert Mueller is fired from the special investigation into President Trump.
Shaub held the position of Director of the U.S. Office for Government Ethics from 2013 through July 2017, when he submitted his resignation to Trump.
Shaub said at the time that Trump has created an environment where ethics don't matter.
This week, Shaub tweeted that he registered for a left-wing group's planned Capitol Hill protest, set to commence when and if Trump fires Mueller.

Yes...The meme that Trump was going to fire Mueller likely was put out to see who would react and possibly identify a leaker. Trump is turning the fakers on their heads by placing false bits of intel and seeing where they wind up. Holder and his “ethics” guy are likely in the crosshairs and just ID’ed themselves!

Shaub was and is a joke and hardly someone who should have any say about ethics. He was there simply to give cover to the unethical actions of Obama and the rest of his administration.

There’s another possibility that goes something like this:
1) The Left would love Trump to fire Mueller so they could splash the headline 24/7: “Trump Fires Mueller! - Obstruction of Justice! - Impeachable Offense!!!”
2) Trump is too smart to walk into that trap, so the Left loses... or do they?
3) The Left’s plan B: Splash the headline anyway, but with an “if”; “If Trump Fires Mueller! Obstruction of Justice - Impeachable Offense!!!”
Sure, now they have to include that little word “if” - but other than that, they get to plaster the same damning headline on every front page 24/7.
According propaganda 101 theory, if you can pack the right “power words” into the same headline - “Trump”, “Fires”, “Obstruction”, “Impeachable”, “Offense”, the inclusion of that little word “if” makes little difference.
I’m sure they’d much prefer Trump actually fired Mueller, but having failed to make that happen, this is their plan B; run the headline anyway, but with an “if”. They are hoping to create an association in the people’s minds of Trump with Obstruction. They think people are that stupid, and to an extent they’re right - some people are.
Apparently in 8 years with Obama he found no ethics.
