This "inaction" is an assumption on your part because you cannot see any official action with your own eyes. But if there is action going on, would it be public knowledge at this point? Should it be public knowledge? We have been conditioned by years of intentional leaks to expect that we know everything about every criminal investigation, and to expect that we should know. We should not know about such an investigation until it is concluded and charges are either filed or deferred.
The shiny object that has been purposefully leaked to us is Mueller's "witch hunt" against Trump. This has been a distraction and has worked brilliantly, allowing the plotters to continue digging their own graves while they themselves were being investigated in secret. In time, the actual rosters of good and bad guys will surprise many of us.
Sounds like the GOP mantra for the last eight years:
2008-2010: We can’t do anything; give us the House and we’ll do something.
2010-2012: We can’t do anything; we only control 1/6th of the government; give us the Senate and we’ll do something.
2012-2016: We can’t do anything; give us the White House and we’ll do something.
2016-2018: we won’t support President Trump’s agenda; so we won’t do anything.
2018-2020= Repeat.
I agree; now we have the power and Trump is not using it.

I hope you are correct, but you state the above as fact. Do you have any evidence of it?

I am curious about who or what it is keeping the president from addressing the stalling of documents to these authorized committees, who retain rights to access, including classified findings.
Nunes is giving a tutorial on committee powers, as he reportedly raided the FBI on Thursday to seize materials long denied to the committee and will be issuing subpoenas for individuals to testify.
Perhaps this all means that actions by the president will be a last resort.
He is at risk of impeachment should he alone blow up Mueller and his team. It’s good to see Nunes get aggressive, first, perhaps. Next comes the Judicial Oversight Committee, who should do the same.
Given his many fine committee and televisons appearances, just what has Rep. Gowdy turned up and accomplished for conservative voters in the past 18 months?

Also Rep. Gowdy’s claims of Comey standing tall as history unfolds, and his even stronger praise of Mueller from the very beginning.
Not to mention Obama’s claims of citizenship, of course, which decent people do not do.

Gowdy could do more than an occasional soundbite for TV.
He could actually demand more and lead with letters to appropriate agencies and make a far bigger stink. But that’s not how the UniParty rolls.
Thankfully we have a President who is getting his people in place who will act at the right moment. We’re almost there.
When it happens the howls from the jackal Rats will be so loud but they chess game will leave them no move. The Inspector General report is coming and when it does next month; all hell is breaking loose.
