Alabama votes on Tuesday in a special election to fill the Senate seat vacated by Jeff Sessions, now the attorney general. The last polls close at 8 p.m. Eastern. Strong support for Roy S. Moore, the Republican, is expected in rural, mostly white parts of the state and in its northern half. The Democrat, Doug Jones, aims to create a lead in the urban counties that include Birmingham and Montgomery, and across a band of largely black counties.
One critical battleground is a trio of smaller, whiter cities: Mobile, Tuscaloosa and Huntsville. Mr. Moore won a hard race in 2012 by keeping things close there. Mr. Jones hopes to win the cities by a convincing margin.

Not enough voters holding their noses and voting for Moore....expect a large number of Rs voting for the Democrat.
I did the math on the exit polls and they show a mega 35% non-white vote with 88% of the non-white voting for Jones. The 35% may be composed of some fraud, although with a republican State office one would hope that they are tuned in accordingly. The ending number based on exit data is Jones 50-Moore 48 unfortunately. Now I’m praying that the exit data is bogus again.
Once again, FR is running like thick molasses.
Page is taking forever to refresh.
I thought Cavuto said 3 years, the balance of Sessions term.
OK...?
So Republicans will vote for someone who is PRO ABORTION.even at the 9th freakin month NO WAY
I can’t stand how the left plays the race card.
Me, too. I’m a little nervous, though.

Roy Moore WINS!
Alabama, we are jealous. You got yourself a real great Senator.
Roy Moore leads by 3 percentage points over Doug Jones with 48 percent of precincts fully reporting.
Well at least if Moore loses Franken will have to go ahead and resign.
A likely scenario is the democrats are using the same methods they used when Obama stole the 2012 election, and the NYT is privy.
Doug Jones, a supporter of murdering unborn babies is more flawed
than Moore.
Ping to 843.
Yup. Looking at the NYT site, there are just not enough little red dots to counter the giant blue ones in Birmingham and Montgomery on the map of outstanding votes. Crushing turnout in Birmingham.
Too close!
Franken will not resign
Slimes says 86% Jones
“Well at least if Moore loses Franken will have to go ahead and resign.”
Al Franken was never going to resign. He will not resign, period!
Looks like Moore will win by between 5 and 6 percent. Source - my crystal ball.
