Students at Oberlin College have long enjoyed pastries, bagels and chocolates from Gibson's Bakery, a century-old, family-owned business near campus. That sweet relationship has turned bitter amid hotly disputed accusations of racism, roiling a school and town long known for their liberal politics.
The dispute, which began in November 2016 with the arrest of three black Oberlin students who tried stealing wine from Gibson's

Rug burns on the chin?
I just have to ask: what kind of bakery serves wine?
Good lord. Probably a liberal-hippie pretentious “coffee-shop” type of bakery.
Yeah! That!
Were they on the Basketball Team?
I heard the ring leader was name LaTrine.
“I heard the ring leader was name LaTrine”
Yikes !!!!!
.
Can't they just turn them loose? I mean, they're black... poor dears...
They were just getting their lives turned around...
Interesting
That would put a stop to it PRONTO
As a guy I can give you a money back guarantee that no man,no matter how drunk...desperate...or psychotic...would ever want to get within 100 yards of that.
So she's either gettin' her lovin' from other lesbians or she's gettin' no lovin' at all.
Trust me on this!
The college is in Ohio. Does not the SF Chronicle have enough to cover in Kalifornia?
Oberlin is the Evergreen/Berkeley of Ohio. They are known for their race hoaxes. The women are all feminazis and the "men" are all pajama boy cucks. I guess the SF Chronicle just wanted to point out that there are other weirdos besides the on left coast.
Check the comments at the SFGate site!
Yuck, another Homely White SJW with a Tattoo. I’m just glad they didn’t show the Tattoos that are covered. Shivers...
Even if she gets Sued and loses, she won’t be paying the Money, the University will.
They are the idiots who Hired her in the first place, so too bad for them.
See Prof Meredith Raimondo CV
Chief area of studies:
“Professor Raimondo’s focus has been on LGBT and sexuality studies. In the 2004-05 school year, she received a grant from the CSL to teach her First-Year Seminar, HIV/AIDS in America . This seminar addressed the questions of the state of the AIDS epidemic in the United States, as well as the disproportionate affect of HIV/AIDS in particular groups and localities in the United States. In addition to discussing and writing about assigned readings, students explored these questions by participating in a local community-based organization addressing HIV/AIDS.”
In addition she’s an anti-semite who helped draft the ridiculous ant-trigger policy,
“Raimondo has also been the center of controversy for her bold stance on using trigger warnings in classrooms, a contentious practice designed to alert students to the presence of potentially upsetting material in their coursework.”
“As co-chairwoman of a task force charged with revamping Oberlins Sexual Offense Resource Guide, Raimondo helped draft an extensive, non-mandatory policy in 2014 that called on faculty use trigger warnings in their lessons.”
Anything could be a triggera smell, song, scene, phrase, place, person, and so on, the guide read. Triggers are not only relevant to sexual misconduct, but also to anything that might cause trauma. Be aware of racism, classism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, ableism and other issues of privilege and oppression. It also instructed professors to Remove triggering material when it does not contribute directly to the course learning goals.
Real piece of work this one.
He was conceived in a Porta-Potty! :^}
If they'd pulled that **** in the hood, they'd have been in body bags. They need to apologize for their reprehensible behavior, and the rest of the nitwit student body needs to STFU. Thanks artichokegrower.
And they make wedding cakes.

The School’s response is here,

It begins with,
“Dear Students,
This has been a difficult few days for our community, not simply because of the events at Gibsons Bakery, but because of the fears and concerns that many are feeling in response to the outcome of the presidential election.”
Same.
Given the tuition at Oberlin, I doubt they will go hungry. That school and the surrounding town are a blight on a decent, fairly conservative area here in Ohio. It has been so for decades. I personally had an Eagle Scout mentee who went there at behest if liberal mommie, only to get twisted into the prototypical lib.
Natch. They ALL look the same.
Called “virtue signaling”.
