I don’t understand why the command of “crawl towards me” was given. It seems like an odd command. To crawl, ones arms/hands are low; thus, they aren’t as visible as other commands. I have to wonder if the command of “lie flat on the ground with your arms extended and don’t move” would have been better?

Another oddball command that police shout is STAND DOWN! which can be completely misinterpreted when staring at a couple of AR-15 rifles.

If this was his training, I would like to know what ever happened the KISS [keep it simple stupid] training admonishment? There are a lot of physical movements going on in a crawl that only increases an officer's stress level. The first objective should be to immobilize the suspects movements, not have him moving around.

He told the guy he was going to lil him.
And he did.

Cops don’t tell people to crawl. This cop is showing his dominance and sadist tendencies. He has no business on any police force. I cannot understand the jury’s verdict.

He had already done that for the officer. As hard as it may be to watch...watch the video.
Here is the longer version and shows this team was not prepared for this situation. Lots of errors on their part.
