One sided partisan media working hard to overthrow the Constitution seem like a serious threat to the First Amendment to me.

If Trump accomplishes nothing else during his presidency but destroy the propaganda organs, he will go down as one of the greatest president ever.
So far he’s may be ahead of schedule.

Neither the media nor reporters are beyond criticism. When the media editorializes the news, make themselves the news or lies in news reports, they do not get “special” constitutional protections. If their “reports” do damage, they should be held liable.
To: Helicondelta
"Some reporters were struck that Trump called for Weigel to be fired for the relatively minor error"It is not a "minor error" to intentionally report fake news. He should not only be fired, he should be prosecuted.

Here's a quote from a
Fox News article by Alex Pappas about the incident:
"In a now-deleted tweet, Weigel, known for his humorous take on the news on Twitter, posted a photo of a half empty arena to mock Trump for saying Fridays rally in Pensacola was packed to the rafters.
So that's it Alex? It was just a big joke? Just Weigel's "humorous take"? Oh, I get it! It's not fake news, just funny news. Wow! That guy can really tell some knee-slappers! He didn't happen to work on the fake...uh, I mean funny 'Trump Dossier' as well did he?

Usually, the attendance number vs. the house capacity is announced. Has anyone heard or seen these numbers? I haven't.
I understand there was also a large crowd of folks outside who couldn't get in.
It's hard to refute fake news without numbers and facts at our disposal.

The president calling for a journalist to be fired seems like a public threat to the First Amendment, wrote MSNBC producer Kyle Griffin. But MSNBC anchors en masse called for Trump to resign after Franken's phony 'resignation' speech -- and that's ok??. LOL!!!
