It’s very obvious. Trump will clean out the DOJ and FBI before offering disclosure. He’ll want to make sure these people are out of positions of power and responsibility. Then they can be properly and criminally dealt with.
>

Wake me up when it happens, but I don’t believe so.

He’d need to EMPTY almost all of D.C. and I don’t see Congress going along, nor the unions sitting back to watch.

How many heads are ‘employed’ at the Fedzilla level? And them just saying, “Darn” when the employment ax comes down??

Hell, we can’t even keep the outgoing ones from stealing the silverware nor pulling all the W’s off the keyboards (nobody fined/fired in either that I can recall). Treason? Ho-hum...

McCarthy has had some terrific articles recently analyzing the Mueller investigation, but this one is way off base and it's pretty clear that Andy's rabidly anti-Trump editors at NRO have told him to ease up on the Trump exonerating stuff.

The first clue is that Andy sides with lefty loons to allege that the dossier is factual - this is absurd. As proof of this, Andy links to an article that says the dossier is true because, for instance, Manafort and Carter Page had Russian business ties, and Page traveled to Russia during the campaign. But the dossier asserts that the REASON that Page traveled to Russia was to meet with high-ranking Putin cronies to plot against Hillary, and that has been shown to be an outrageous fabrication - Page, in fact traveled to Russia to give a commencement speech (which was not “anti-American” as Andy asserts, merely anti-0bama).

But as to the main point of the article, yes Trump could order this information released, and that may happen. But a very good reason for that not happening now is that it's evidence in an ongoing criminal investigation that will bring down the 0bama DOJ/FBI, and that's something waiting for.

I just love that he was in California when he got the news. "Timing is Everything". The only thing that could have made the moment more perfect is if President Trump had forbade the FBI from giving Comey a free ride back home. Can you imagine the press hounding Comey in a public airport? I hope Comey remembers to declare the "income" on his taxes for the free government flight back to DC while he was a private citizen.

“Andy links to an article that says the dossier is true because, for instance, Manafort and Carter Page had Russian business ties”

Exactly. If i knew you went to Los Angeles, that doesn’t prove my dossier that you are part of Weinstein’s operation was true.

And i think also, he has been threatened with impeachment if he releases and “interferes” with Mueller. And now since he raided Comeys office, everyone knows what he knows. So Mueller is forced to finish the job somewhat honestly because he knows a fiction story will get destroyed.

Trump waits him out and knows what he is doing.

The Presidlent is playing poker with his cards very close to his vest. He knows the agencies are corrupt at least through the first three levels, he knows the congress is a quagmire of conceit and treachery, if the leakers are truly about to be indicted, this will bust open the can of worms thence allowing the president to act with the extreme high ground.

Here is the entire Steele dossier

I have read all 35 pages including the summary. People should read it and judge for themselves about its accuracy. Carter Page is filing a lawsuit against Steele. Michael Cohen, President's advisor, never visited Prague. Aleksej Gubarev, a Russian technology executive, has sued BuzzFeed for libel for its decision to publish a series of memos authored by the former British spy Christopher Steele.

What was the real reason Strzog was removed from the case? Why was Bruce G. Ohr demoted as it was learned that he had contacts with both Steele and GPS Fusion's Simpson?

Ohr will retain his OCDETF title but has been stripped of his higher post and ousted from his office on the fourth floor of “Main Justice.”

When you read the dossier, you can divine that Mueller is using it as a road map for this "investigation."

It is important to remember that no one predicted a Trump win. Hillary was a lock. And it also important to note who funded it and what was the agenda.

McCarthy is trying to put additional pressure on Trump to get involved in the investigation now, which in my opinion would be a mistake. The various revelations coming out about Mueller's team and the perfidy within the FBI will build to a crescendo when the OIG report is released in its entirety. It may even address the FISA issue.

Just like Watergate. Except that they used the FBI to do the dirty work instead of doing it themselves. O

The Trump campaign may have known about the surveillance all along, and used it to deliberately feed false information to the Obama intelligence people overseeing it.

NSA Director Admiral Mike Rodgers met with Trump on Nov 17, 2016. It doesn't seem likely that they would have talked about golf and grand kids.

“re is no need to expose intelligence sources or methods of gathering information — they can be redacted.”

What sources and methods would be revealed by exposing a a fake dossier?

McCarthy is no credible.

Yes, I love this recent formulation, especially on the left, that if any part of an outrageous allegation is true, then the allegation is “mostly true.”

We saw this yesterday with the Roy Moore yearbook forgery, with the left in essence screeching, “See, it was only partly forged!”

The George Kastanza argument. If I believe the lie, it must be true.

Something is being covered up—and my bet is its really bad. History will show the real corruption that infused the FBI and DOJ. Obama will, I believe, prove to be the most corrupt of all presidents.

If the dossier had been verified there would be non stop jubilant press coverage. In fact, why didn’t the MSM verify it?

Or perhaps they tried?

Their Never Trump darkness was pretty pervasive.
