And I do not regret one moment of it...but I truly weep for what Law Enforcement has become.
I see so many of these younger LE guys with the tattoos, the 'roid physiques, the fascination with the latest "tactical" device, the incessant talk about "proning the dude out", "capping his felonious ass", etc, etc.
I have 38 years of LE behind me, both military and civilian...and I should celebrate my brothers in blue...but truth be told...I am now scared shitless of them.
Ain't that a shame?
What do you think has happened? Or is it just a microcosm of society? More bad seeds running around, more likely to find them in any given profession? What are the psychological and background checks like now I wonder.
