Yep - too many jumping on the fake “moral outrage” bandwagon “just in case”.....I upped my donations to Moore.

Next step is to look through her classmates and see if there was a Ray there, probably one who is dead now and can't step up and say, "No, that was me."

No.

The accuser Beverly Young Nelson is either colorblind, incredibly stupid or both.

This idiot woman is going to get prison time and her handlers will likely escape justice. This farce may have worked if Breitbart's reporting hadn't forced them to start their propaganda campaign too far ahead of the election.

This fakery was all going to come out at some time but there would be a Democrat Senator from Alabama who would not be booted from the Senate by McConnell and the swamp would have won this battle. Even now McConnell is bleating that he will eject Judge Roy Moore from the Senate.

Facts:

  1. McConnell and his allies spent $30 million in a Republican primary race to defeat Roy Moore.
  2. Hours after the Washington Post piece went viral, Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell joined the dance, calling for Moore to withdraw from the Alabama Senate race "if these allegations are true." No pause. No circumspection. No waiting until the facts are in before rushing to judgment.
  3. McConnnell's calls for Judge Roy Moore to step down also appeared to be part of a pre-scripted and coordinated campaign as McConnell and his GOPe pet flying monkeys showed up all over media within hours and using identical talking points calling for Moore. McConnell's lynch mob included Republican Senators Jeff Flake of Arizona, David Perdue of Georgia, John Thune of South Dakota, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Cory Gardner of Colorado, Richard Shelby of Alabama, Patrick Toomey of Pennsylvania and John McCain of Arizona.
  4. After there was photographic evidence of Franken assaulting a woman McConnell made no calls for Franken to step down but merely recommended an "ethics investigation" where scandals go to die.
  5. After Judge Moore refused to capitulate to pressure McConnell made noise about refusing to seat a victorious Senator Moore which is unconstitutional to say the least.
  6. After his unconstitutional threat was outed as delusional McConnell made threats that if Roy Moore is elected, he would "immediately have an issue with the Ethics Committee" over allegations of sexual misconduct that supposed occurred 40 years ago.

McConnell needs to resign.

If McConnell does not resign then he must be deposed as Senate Majority Leader and then face an ethics investigation of his own.

If you look at the “ay” in “say” and the “ay” in “Ray”, you can see they are exactly the same.
From the poor image in Post #28 it is far from obvious that you are wrong.

When Senator (please God) Moore sues, this will all be clarified. But in combination with TC’s point about the rhyme, I don’t see it coming out any other way. And of course, when the perpetrator actually admits forging “Moore” . . .

My bottom line on this, after seeing the judge elected, is to see, not just the lying witness, and not just The Washington Post, but the whole of the MSM sued. This is hardly a one-off; the MSM does this sort of thing any time the opportunity presents (or can be fabricated). Obviously “the MSM” cannot be named as a defendant, but that is no problem. The correct name for the defendant is "The Associated Press and its membership, joint and several liability.”

And while you’re at it, Judge, accuse the AP of violating Sherman Anti-Trust Act (1890), which provides for treble damages. Considering that the AP has already been held in violation of Sherman back in 1945 - and that the mission of the AP is obsolete* - it ought to be a slam-dunk.

* The mission of the AP is to conserve scarce, expensive telegraphy bandwidth in the nationwide distribution of the news. Over the past century and a half, the price of telegraphy bandwidth has plummeted to the point where, for instance, a FreeRepublic.com is economically feasible. Surely FR uses as much bandwidth as the AP did in 1945 . . .

I only just saw this new evidence today, and am wondering what others think about it.

For context, I think the Beverly Young Nelson story is not attempted sexual assault, but more likely to be an attempt to initiate petting that was rebuffed, if it happened at all. It's perhaps a thin line to make, but nothing else in Moore's past indicates that he ever did anything more than kissing and touching on dates.

That said...

The new evidence I cite is the graduation card sent to Debbie Gibson. The handwriting is remarkably similar to the Nelson yearbook, with the capital "I," the elongated crosses on the "t," the lower part of the "f," and the identical "Roy."

My take-away is that the Nelson yearbook entry could very well be Moore's handwriting, but this only indicates that he knew her in 1977, even if only as an acquaintance. The signing at Christmas needs to be explained.

Still, this does not corroborate Nelson's story that Moore assaulted her, only that the met. The question then is how likely it is that Moore remembered each and every girl he asked out 38 years ago.

Bottom line: I think I'm consistent when I said that the inks were different, but I never went beyond that to say that the signature was not Moore's. I never bought into the "Ray" theory. I still think that if Nelson's story of a ride in a car is true, that the worst I believe is that there were crossed signals that were acted on that led Moore to believe they were going to "make out."

I'm also sticking to my belief that Moore missed his prime opportunity to date his age peers because he was in the Army in Vietnam and then law school, and when he came back to Gadsden many women of his age were already married. Moore was eager to find a wife, and so started looking at high school graduates, perhaps making up for lost time, perhaps feeling he'd be more attractive and competitive to them as a successful lawyer than the boys they would be likely to date otherwise.

What do you all think of this now?

Yep. Happens every election here in CA. Usually it’s the Thursday before the election, so it gets talked about all weekend, and there’s no time to refute it. Her big mistake was springing it too soon, so Moore had time to fight back.

That’s a fact.

However, don’t forget that Franken said that he “would resign” in “coming weeks”. The whole point of that charade was to put a bulls-eye on Moore once he gets elected next week. Now that Moore’s accuser has blown her whole “case” to smithereens, I think that Franken will do an about face and NOT resign.

He IS a RAT after all. No honor. No integrity. No moral compass.

Your theory may be correct, but in my view it's a waste of time to try to re-create a narrative from 35+ years ago.

The fact that Beverly Nelson felt a need to alter the signature is enough to convince me that every allegation -- including those leveled by other women -- against Moore is suspect (at best) or absolutely false (more likely).

“What do you all think of this now?”

I do not understand why you continue to feast on the “fruit of a poisoned tree”. This lying harpy has just admitted to lying, forgery, and attempting to influence a federal election with these lies and the forgery. Both are crimes and put her entire story into extreme disrepute.

Based on your inability to either see or admit to her crimes while you carry this liar's water, I must dismiss you entire argument with extreme prejudice.

Fakebook isn’t trending this story or identifying the original claims as fakenews.

The crooked nets are acknowledging it is another ‘fake but accurate’ October surprise so they aren’t accused of covering it up until after the election. Like a Friday document dump is still going to make waves come Sunday morning.

Bitter clinger Democrats are saying that the added information is proof. Except we don’t know when it was added and why they were mot forthright to begin with.

Much bigger scandal than the Project Veritas sting. Why is it only okay for SeeBS 60 Minutes and Catch a Predator to conduct stings for gotcha journalism?

Apologize is 100% not going to happen.

Keep on bashing Moore 75% chance

25% chance they may backpedal, and “reconsider carefully whether an ethics committee is required”.

It is very clear, here, who is the victim & who should be condemned, Judge Moore is the victim. His accusers are obviously driven by hate, not injury; by mischievous intent, not virtue.

I thought there was an old quote from Somebody Important about 2000-odd years ago.

Seems like all Judge Moore needs to do is walk up to the Senate podium - if such as witch-burning trial is ever begun in the first place - and simply repeat, "Let him who without sin cast the first stone."
