Why are people only getting demoted rather than fired?
I would certainly hope so. It sure looks like the FBI and DOJ were deeply involved with the dossier. That is why they decided to hurry up and do process crimes to make the investigation look legit. Still no reports of election collusion..

EXCLUSIVE: A senior Justice Department official was demoted this week amid an ongoing investigation into his contacts with the opposition research firm responsible for the anti-Trump “dossier,” the department confirmed to Fox News.
Until Wednesday morning, Bruce G. Ohr held two titles at DOJ: associate deputy attorney general, a post that placed him four doors down from his boss, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein; and director of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF), a program described by the department as “the centerpiece of the attorney general’s drug strategy.”
Ohr will retain his OCDETF title but has been stripped of his higher post and ousted from his office on the fourth floor of “Main Justice.”

Well, isn't that special! Was it Rosenstein who had his underling meet with Fusion GPS? At the very least, Ohr was reporting back to Rosenstein about the meeting.
It sure looks that way. FBI and DOJ stonewalling on providing info to congress sure looks like they have something to hide..
Many of these individuals would be considered Officers under the Constitution and be subject to impeachment and trial in the Senate.

I admit I so wanted to believe that, when the theory first surfaced. But over time, I have come to reject it. Why? We all admit that Mueller was formerly a member of the swamp and the theory is that during his interview with Trump, some sort of rapprochement was established.
But think about it. Such a “deal” could in fact be twisted around as obstruction of justice (”you mean you made a deal with the President to go after Hillary???!!!”) Trump would be too wise to fall into that trap, when negotiating with the swamp.
Even today, with Wray’s testimony before Congress, the ‘Rats were all asking if the President had personally directed him in any way and what his chain of command was, looking exactly for such a case to take to the media.
Thus, I can only conclude that Trump has been totally hands off in his dealings with Mueller, much as I would like that conspiracy theory to be true.

And this Wray character states some agencies within may be a little lax in updating Sessions about what they’re doing...To cover for criticism of Sessions...
Wray is another deep state player and I assume Sessions takes orders from him and others instead of giving orders...
Mueller was the ‘guy’ in charge of the FBI in ‘09 when the U1 deal went down and is memory serves me it was said he was told to stand down by Holder/Obama et al.
He was/is well respected as a patriot and may(I believe does)have a bitter after taste with the Obama admin. And he and only he knows where all the bones are buried.
If he wants to expose the deep-state how else and who else but Mueller would be able to do it. Load up the commision with leftist and have them bring evidence to him regarding Hillary to bury, but he keeps it instead.
I’m going to believe Mueller is slowly dismantling the DS while taking a bunch of arrows.
Mueller is NOT on Trump’s side, and this didn’t come from him. This is from the quiet IG investigation that has been going on for 11 months. This dude, Stzrok, McCabe, the harlot, all going down. Just the start. Congress is helping greatly via their subpeonas. When the black hats drag their feet, the IG zero’s in. There will be a dozen more before Christmas. Many for leaks, but that will be just the start of their problems.
THEN they can reopen the pantsuit email investigation. Wray is on our side. Must. Purge. First.
And yeah, as other freepers suggest, I think the FBI was involved in the writing of the Disinformation Dossier. Probably verbal via Simpson and Steele, but maybe even suggested edits. Written. Traceable. Hidden. Will come out after purge.

If DOJ officials meet with foreign spies to discuss efforts by other foreign spies to discredit a candidate, isn’t that “collusion?”
