Several major news organizations were forced to provide corrections or clarifications on stories that initially claimed investigators had subpoenaed Donald Trumps financial records from a German bank.
After an initial report about a subpoena from the German daily Handlesblatt, Bloomberg, The Wall Street Journal and other news outlets reported that Deutsche Bank had received a subpoena from Special Counsel Robert Mueller targeting Trump and his familys bank records. Those reports were disputed by White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders and Trumps personal lawyer.
We confirmed that the news reports that the special counsel had subpoenaed financial records related to the president are completely false, Sanders said during the White Houses daily press conference. No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources. I think this is another example of the media going too far and too fast and we dont see it going in that direction.
We have confirmed that the news reports that the Special Counsel had subpoenaed financial records relating to the president are false. No subpoena has been issued or received. We have confirmed this with the bank and other sources, Trump lawyer John Dowd wrote in an email.

Still MORE Fake News.
It’s hard to keep track of all the FAKE NEWS.
IIRC, one story about Brian Ross and his “whoopsie” which caused the stock market to plummet, contained the tidbit that afterwards, an ABC executive called the newsies together for a tongue lashing. He explained that good news doesn’t mean “Get it first”. Rather, good news means “Get it right”.
Of course, I don’t think the executive was sincere and I don’t think the newsies took him seriously. They all know that good news means “Get Trump.”
The audio recording of the executive being shocked, shocked at the poor reporting was somehow leaked to CNN. CYA or honest anger? I know how I’d answer that question.
Do these bastards ever tell the plain, simple, straight forward truth???
EVER???
There was no subpoena. Besides, Trump has not been told he is under investigation.
What piece of Weasel Mueller’s hate machine leaked/placed this tidbit?
I see Hillary’s vindictive hand in this.
4/24/2013, Deutsche Bank AG: $225,000 for a Hillary speech
AND
$250,000 $500,000 donated to Clinton Foundation
SOURCE: freebeacon.com
EXCERPT Hillary delivered more than 90 speeches after stepping down as secretary of state in early 2013. The lucrative gigs were each worth between $100,000 and $400,000, netting Clinton nearly $22 million.
Many of the companies that booked Clinton for speeches also donated generously to the Clinton Foundation. The foundation, which discloses its donors but only specifies how much they donated within wide bands, received between $8 million and $26 million in donations from speech hosts, the Free Beacon has found.
The Associated Press reported in April that more than one-third of the companies that paid Clinton to speak had contracts with the U.S. government.
Below is the list of speeches Clinton delivered between 2013 and 2015 and the amount of money the companies donated to her foundation.

The Clinton campaign did not return a request for comment.
Every news organization that ran with that needs to have their WH press card yanked.
And now for something completely different
You have done a great job listing past speech corruption
Barack Obama is running around making speeches. How much is he being paid for past favors?
Was this episode trolling, rolling, or smoking out leakers? There are no coincidences.
Obama is making these speeches under cover of his "Foundation"....... in the footsteps of the Clintons.
In fact, Obama consulted with the do-good Clinton Foundation beforehand (as to the MO for getting rich quick using tax-free fronts).
ABC ran this fake news story too. Haven’t seen a retraction.
I saw you warned people, AC, but to very little avail until the the story was disputed by Sarah H-S and Trump's lawyer. Looks like FR needs it daily "woe is me, the sky is falling moment".
Almost every day, now, it seems some part of the so-called mainstream media has to acknowledge reporting errors.
“errors”??
Outright blatant Lies! They are paid to do it. To promote the agenda. They are Press-titutes, they do it for the money.
I agree with you. However, a lie - a falsehood - is a deliberate error. The media has been forced to correct their errors (deliberate falsehoods) at an increasing rate.
“Huckabee Sanders Vindicated”
I love Sanders but wasn’t she just reporting the administration’s position?
the real news is on YouTube reporters (ie former CIA/FBI/military intel). They have the real scoop and are not afraid to report it! Fox comes out with the real news about a month after i hear it on YouTube. FR will have the scoop embedded in threads.
There needs to be law where harmful false stories result in suspension of FCC licenses for weeks or months.
