Hope Turtle is up for being thrown out of office for corruption and failure to do his job.
And Moore’s accusers will have to testify under oath. As will Allred. And the yearbook will be analyzed. This is all an idol threat trying to get Alabamans to not vote for him. Oh, I despise McConnell.

I’ve said this before, and the turtle’s posturing only reinforces it. Moore should commit to joining the Senate not as a Republican, but rather as a Conservative Independent. He should make the GOP leadership grovel for his vote on any important issue. He should refuse to caucus with either party and essentially form his own Conservative party of one in the Senate. He should also act as a monkey-wrench for the nonsense from both sides.
With everybody getting on their moral high horse, we ought to see a scorched earth battle ensue with most of Congress needing to resign.
So Mitch, instead of accepting defeat gracefully and beginning to strategize how to work with Moore, goes public saying he's Moore's implacable enemy for life. Okay, Moore is a former DA and tough judge. I'll bet if it's going to be a street fight on ethics charges that Moore can play that game pretty well. He doesn't have to go after McConnell directly, just ferret out corruption in members all through the Senate on both sides of the aisle. If Mitch wants to go scorched earth, he might to consider that he rules an empire of crooks and reconsider how he uses fake ethics investigations.
Keep digging, Mitch. The comeuppance of the Obstructionists will be thoroughly gratifying to witness.
If Moore is ejected from the Senate, Alabama should leave the Union. Again.
What would be interesting is if somehow Senator Moore is handed the list of sexual harassment payoff and reads it in front of the committee. I’m betting more than a spree in that group will be called out. If not, the forces crushing the corrupt of late might hand him a list of other known crimes. Let’s see how long the committee and members last then...

As soon as Moore wins on Dec 12th and the President congratulates him McConnell will promptly STFU and seat him.
