The Palestinian factions announced three days of rage from Wednesday to Friday in protest of US President Donald Trump's announcement to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and to transfer the American embassy from Tel Aviv.
The Palestinian factions called President Trump's policy "political blackmail, which would destroy his ability to achieve regional or colonialist achievements in the region."

It was just one “Day of Rage” with Hamas. One or three, it doesn’t matter. So far, we have had 1400 years of rage from that group. A new excuse won’t affect their actions.
Living in rage, it’s a tough sell, “Three Days of Rage”.
So,... it’s just another day in Terrorist central.

Actually they are upset because their traditional blackmail of us isn't working and won't if he does this- it'll be one less thing they can demonstrate to other Muslims their mastery of blackmailing us on... and it will be quite possibly a critical loss, as without the false hope of Muslim control of Jerusalem as a Palestinian capitol.
This is a hope that's only been kept alive by the US refusal to recognize Jerusalem as the ancient capital of Israel.
With the Palestinians unable to blackmail and thus finally looking like the weak horse, other Muslims will lose interest in the Palestinian cause- No one wants to waste their bet on a weak horse. That weakness will reduce the pressure on Arab rulers in other countries to support the Palestinian socialists, who up until now have used the issue to gain the support of religious extremists.
It's one thing to threaten to riot year after year in order to prevent the US from doing something, quite another to organize perpetual rioting AFTER it's done. Once the first riot's lost steam, what are you going to use as the object to motivate a second riot or a third? Try to threaten the US into moving the embassy back? Back to Palestinian rioting areas? Not going to happen...
Once the Palestinians have lost everything they could blackmail us on, then they will have to accept peace- not a moment before. So this is one step towards the distant day they have nothing left to threaten us over.
And if every time they riot, they lose something else, then that will speed the day of reckoning.
