Many pilots in Germany are refusing to participate in deportations, local media reported on Monday.
Following an information request from the Left Party, the government said that 222 planned flights were stopped by pilots who wanted no part in the controversial return of refugees to Afghanistan, which has been deemed a safe country of origin in some cases, despite ongoing violence and repression in parts of the country.
Some 85 of the refusals between January and September 2017 came from Germanys main airline Lufthansa and its subsidiary Eurowings. About 40 took place at Düsseldorf airport, where the controversial deportations are routinely accompanied by protesters on the tarmac. The majority of the canceled flights, around 140, took place at Frankfurt Airport, Germanys largest and most important hub.
Lufthansa spokesman Michael Lamberty defended personnel who chose not to fly deported people back to their countries of origin, saying that sometimes security was a concern. [ ]
As Germany stepped up deportations, the number of asylum seekers appealing their decisions has increased significantly. Nearly every second ruling made by the BAMF in the first half of the year was brought before a judge. This is nearly double the number of appeals made during the same period in 2016 as it stands now, the courts side with about one in every four asylum seekers who appeal their status. According to public broadcaster NDR, these suits have cost Berlin about 19 million ($22.5 million) from January to November 2017, an increase of 7.8 million from the previous year.

Fear
It’s something Muslims use. A lot.
Put diapers on all the deportees and hogtie them. That should reassure the pilots about their safety.
Don’t they want to protect their own country from hostile invaders? They should be fired and replaced. Maybe a labor union protects their jobs no matter what they do.
You’ll never get the smell outta the plane.
Thanks Olog-hai.
PING
Here’s a solution:
Stop using passenger planes.
Take whatever their version is, of a C130, C141, C17 and rig them up for troop transport missions.
Install a cage at the front of the air craft, to separate the cargo area from the crew.
Put 8-10 SEK or GSG9 on board to quell any uprisings.
Land, don’t even turn the engines off. Use cattle prods to force them off, quickly and take off.
The flight isn’t that long from Germany to Afghanistan, anyway.
Refuel and do it again and again and again and again and again
There must be a LOT of qualified pilots who are willing to hire out as transporters. Pay them well and they will come.
Capitulating idiots.
German pilots refusing to deport = DUMBA$$ES.
Did these DUMBA$$ pilots refuse to bring in the Muslim jihadists ?
Today’s Germans are like the French of 1940: ready to surrender at a moment’s notice.
I AGREE !
Damn good advice which would solve a lot of problems; but is not in line with our globalist rulers’ plans.
Go Poland, Czech Rep, Hungary and USA; give the bird to and deport the fascist Soros.
I suggest using a cargo plane that opens in mid-flight. In case passengers get uppity.
While there are arguments to the contrary, and nothing moves in a strait line, like Turkey, Germany really is drifting further away from the US. And it is happening at an accelerated pace.
Hopefully the course can be reversed, however, even while superficial, the German government has actually been growing closer to Moscow over the last 8 years, likely in part because of energy.
I would not be surprised to see a more rapid and widening chasm between Germany and the US going forward.
Germany is already upset and even antagonistic toward the US for moving much of EUCOM deeper into Eastern Europe, and the US not going along with what is proving to be German political and economic hegemony throughout Europe.
Wow, once again, the Eastern European nations are going to have some tough sledding not long in the future. The domino’s were kicked over long before the election of President Trump.
Germany and Russia really seem to have a problem with Eastern Europe, likely because they don’t want Eastern European nations to be so self dependent, and both want Eastern Europe more under their control.
I guess I and II were not bloody enough between European socialists.
Hey, maybe III will be more of a blast! /s
I am truly thankful we have Trump, even though just a breather...
The world is really prepping for major wars.
STUPID A-MORAL SOCIALIST!
Guess I kind of went off in a different direction than deportation.
Lufthansa? Why not use a bunch of Luftwaffe C-160 transports instead? If the passengers cause trouble, toss ‘em out the cargo door.
“Following an information request from the Left Party, the government said that 222 planned flights were stopped by pilots who wanted no part in the controversial return of refugees to Afghanistan”
Snowflake pilots...What next? Scary to think they actually allow these brainwashed bed-wetters to be in charge of a cockpit.
I see the problem clearly with Germany now. Theyre trying so hard to be the exact opposite of Nazis. The problem with completely lowering your guard is that you become the victim and enable the worst evil to take advantage.
"...heres a solution..."
