The quest for collusion is over. Special counsel Robert S. Mueller III’s Russia investigation has not — either through leaks or announced indictments — revealed any collusion, and Democrats and their allies in the liberal mainstream media know that it never will. This reality is setting in among the president’s clearer-thinking foes, and they are transitioning to an obstruction of justice claim in an effort to sustain the fight with President Trump.
Mueller’s investigation has been looking into Russian meddling in the 2016 election since May. His team has made a number of consequential findings, but none of them establish collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia. We would know by now if anyone close to Trump had actually colluded with Russia to impact the 2016 campaign. The only thing we know for certain is that Paul Manafort, Rick Gates, George Papadopoulos and Michael Flynn have been indicted for or admitted to things that fall short of collusion and have nothing to do with the president.
The Democrats know their faux-outrage over collusion is hollow and spent. Given that Mueller’s investigation hasn’t found the holy grail or produced anything that rises to the level of criminality on the part of Trump, liberals in Congress and in the media are now transitioning to an obstruction of justice story-line. Mueller is not talking, so the president’s critics are creating a new line of attack based on the notion that the firing of former FBI director James B. Comey was somehow a criminal act.

I want to know WHAT was in Strozk’s emails. I want to know just how he was able to acquit Hillary and her staff without swearing them in and without notes for their interviews. I want to know how he was able to read thousands of emails in a few days from Weiner’s server and clear Clinton of wrongdoing through Comey three days before the election. I want to know why Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin were not placed under oath when they gave their account to Strozk. I want to know why Strozk was able to degrade the evaluation of Clinton’s conduct from “grossly negligent” to “careless”. I want to know why Strozk’s wife was appointed to a $ 225,000 job at the SEC in late October 2016 while he was reviewing Hillary’s emails on Weiner’s server. I want to know why Strozk ended up interviewing Flynn for the questions for which Flynn has been indicted, where his notes are of that interview and whether they conform to the accounts of his fellow FBI agent who was present for the FBI interview of Flynn. I want to know WHY Strozk was fired by Mueller. I want to know why Mueller ignored the congressional subpoena for information on Strozk for three months, still hasn’t responded to it and yet has time to tell the press what he wants about it last Friday nite. I want to know why Strozk is still on the FBI payroll. I want to know why his wife, if she is a political employee, still holds her position. I want to know why Lisa Page, who supposedly was involved with Strozk, was on Mueller’s staff of 12 lunatic Hillary supporters, why she was transferred and why she is still employed by the FBI as an attorney.
