With all respect, you have no business hoping to ‘allow’ or ‘not allow’ anything, with regard to individuals and the personal choices that they make wrt their votes. People make their own choices.

The OP seems to be trying to encourage Christians to vote for a certain MAN, in a certain transitory political contest – as if Jesus really cared a whit about politics. He probably would say ‘What is that to thee?”

I admire Judge Moore, but I don’t think it’s necessary to make voting for him or anyone a ‘religious’ duty. A vote is something that people execute from many very individual levels of consciousness and conscience.

The people of Alabama will vote for Judge Moore, if they do - (and I believe that they will) - because he’s the best man, and with regard to his record in the world. That’s enough.

E-mails and forum posts are commonly poor ways to communicate, and I may not have expressed myself clearly. When I used the word “allow”, I was referring to a tendency on the part of some conservatives and/or Christians to use a vocabulary defined by the Left. If I keep making it clear that a word means what it has meant all my life, then I am not allowing the other person to keep changing the playing field. I meant nothing more, and was not in any way trying to take away anyone’s freedom of conscience.
