Germany wants to support rejected asylum-seekers who voluntarily move back to their home countries with a one-time payment of 3,000 euros ($3,570).

That's the carrot, where's the stick?

I have been calling for us to pay illegals to leave for months. After they go home, they can get in line to apply for work permits to come here legally for seasonal labor and then go back home.

I think 72 ham sandwiches would be cheaper. You would not have the cost of the burial for the person getting the virgins. And what about the female immigrants? Would they get 72 studs? I must assume there would be a stampede of volunteers to check out status of the women.

My sister lives in Houston. She said the best money the city ever spend was offering free one way airlines to the Hurricane Katrina refugees to leave.

It cleared out a goodly portion of the Astrodome during the two weeks or so it was in effect, roughly offsetting what it cost to keep them for four days.
