Annette briefly filed for divorce in 2006, claiming she suffered “cruel and inhumane” treatment from Lauer, who she said in legal documents was controlling and demonstrated “extreme anger and hostility.” She withdrew the divorce filing a month later.
Another well-placed source insisted that the reason Annette withdrew her divorce filing is that Lauer offered her a post-nuptial agreement at the time of the filing, offering her up to a rumored $5 million deal to remain in the marriage.
The source said, “Matt needed to stay in the marriage to keep his reputation as America’s nicest dad. He is in fact a great, and very doting dad to his kids, but he is also a terrible husband.”

I love it when you get the claim of being a great dad... who’s word are we taking for it...never been a dad but I imagine that whether you are a great dad is found out after your kids grow up and start having kids themselves... I am guessing that Like most liberal parents he was using his kids as window dressing to hide his perv lifestyle and control his wife. I might be wrong but its more likely I am right.

Annnette is selfish worthless garbage too, to take a deal to stay married to a man as she described as such and wanted a divorce from over a decade ago.
She enabled him to do all the wrongs he has done since by her taking the bribe (agreement). Her hands are as dirty as his this last decade.

no way you can be a “great” dad, if you are doing the things wife and accusers say he has done.It’s a horrible example he has set for them to have to deal with and learn to set aside as they go about their own lives. It’s lies and control and manipulation that appear as taking care of and being a great dad.
