Wait, aren’t we supposed to hate Sen. Scott because he didn’t endorse Donald Trump off the bat?
Check your Loyalties, boy, check your Loyalties!
Actually help-each-other evangelicals.
What an amazing story. Thank you for posting this.
Who’s Peltier?
Theres a HUGE difference between having $100 and not having it. A Humungous. Difference. As any poor person knows Or anyone who has been poor The rich piggy D autocrats need to stfu about poor and working and middle class people.
Alyssa Milano is just another Hollywood whack-job beauty.
bkmk
I am constantly amazed at how much we waste in America.
Yet, in a strange way, it makes it easier to get ahead if you are motivated.
A person with little can dress well in clothes from the Salvation Army. Shop carefully and stock up on great deals from grocery stores, or better, bargain grocery stores.
A person who is looking ahead can get fantastic deals in distressed property that most overlook because of cosmetic flaws.
$50.00 to fill the tank means she is either driving a truck or a YUGE SUV.
I can fill my car(Regular) and my Harley (Premium) and still not hit $50.00.
So, two tanks of gas?
Every dime is worth something. $100 can pay for the heat or groceries.
As you have probably heard by now, the junior senator was once an aimless teen who was failing four classes, and he was on the verge of flunking out of high school. He worked a part-time job at a movie theater, and every day he ordered fries and a water from a nearby Chick-fil-A. The owner of the restaurant, John Moniz, eventually took the 13-year-old Scott under his wing and educated him in the teachings of the Republican Party and self-help evangelicals.
...
The evil Chick-fil-A (according to liberals) strikes again.
Just IMAGINE how his story would have been plastered IN OUR FACES non-stop, had he been a Democrat.
And, no, I am REALLY PROUD OF HIM - he was RESPONDING to a standard Leftist attack line...that make other Republicans run and hide (even if though the Democrats are often, if not mostly, are wealthier).
While he’s not a perfect conservative (in the Trump fold), but he’s DAMN CLOSE! When it comes to supporting Trump’s policies, I never hear his name as being a ‘maverick’. There are a LOT of white Republicans who could learn from him.
Being poor isn’t running your EBT card over and having to put a couple of steaks back.
Being poor is never having heard of an EBT card and always knowing exactly how much money you have - and it’s all in your pocket.
Huge disappointment
The reason it cost $50.00 to fill a gas tank in California is due to our high gasoline taxes. Thanks to Jerry Brown and the Democrats, our gas taxes are now 41.7 cents per gallon. The most recent gas tax hike took effect on November 1, 2017.

This is clueless. Let's see - for the average family that probably covers the electric bill each month or a significant portion of it. If a struggling family can then count on being able to afford their electric bill each month instead of worrying each month about whether or not their power is going to be cut off I would say that would be a huge relief and make life a lot better. Or it could pay for a week's worth of groceries. Allow them to hire a plumber to fix a leaky pipe they couldn't afford to get fixed before. Help pay their mortgage or rent. Flat out nutty to suggest an extra hundred dollars of cashflow every month for a struggling family would not make a huge positive difference.
