Geraldo Rivera tweeted an apology to actress Bette Midler after she posted a video of an interview from 1991 where she accused him of drugging her and groping her in the 1970s. Rivera said he recalled the incident much different than the way Midler does, but he still apologizes for his actions.

Poppers
She was very shapely in the 1970s, a dancer as well as a singer. Maybe you don’t like the big hair, but it was the style then.
You wouldn’t grope an over weight mermaid? LOL!
Funny how perverts apologize when they are found out. Probably hoping no one will be mean to them and take away their jobs.
And,
“PS, Hey Bette if you’re not busy Saturday night how about doing it again?”
Faux should fire him immediately.
Let him go work at NBC or CNN.
I don’t really like him but I can see why some would. He’s a smart guy with an interesting background, and he often has surprising positions for a liberal because he’s a lawyer by trade and knows how to be objective.
She wasn’t too bad 40 years ago. Gravity takes time to take its toll.
“The worst singer in history of the world!”
I hope you are joking. No one can sing “The Rose” or “Wind Beneath My Wings” like Bette Midler. Did you see her sing the latter at Yankee Stadium shortly after 9/11? If not, Google it. Raw emotion that had the stadium in tears.
See my #21: she had a good figure, not a bad face ... bad hair, but Bernadette Peters had bad hair, too, and she’s one of the great stage talents of our lifetime.
I think it’s silly the way some men decide a woman is fat and ugly if they disagree with her politics.
“Geraldo” is a bizarre version of a journalist, but he’s 5’9”, according to Wikipedia. Below average height for an American man, but no Tom Cruise.
That is getting to be a very popular phrase.
Yes I noticed that too.
I always liked him too, even though he was often wrong and a Leftist.
A couple of female Fox contributors were talking on Fox and Friends this morning, remarking that sexual harassment didn't just occur at NBC, it was industrywide, even at Fox News. One of them said she knows of some bad things at Fox but it wasn't her place to report it since it didn't happen to her, and the other people there just kind of nodded in agreement. I wouldn't be surprised if something didn't happen at FNC pretty soon.
She was a butterface.
A genuine apology is made in person, not in a tweet. What is wrong with this world?
I had the same thought. But then I am old fart (70).
Ahhhh yes the old non-apology apology. Other words, your claim is BS to my memory, but if you think I did what you said, i'm sorry for what you're thinking.
Personal taste. I thought she was cute.
She’s in her 70s now, and she’s had ghastly things done to her face. She doesn’t look old: just looks like an alien. Still seems to be in pretty good shape, though.
