Flynn’s always done stuff like this. I think he always plays loose with the truth like most Dems in DC do, but didn’t quite grasp that once he aligned with the GOP those rules don’t apply anymore.

This is a complete desecration of what Flynn’s agreement stated. He stated his plea was his decision to cooperate with the special counsel. There is absolutely nothing indicated about cooperating to testify against anyone.
Now Rush’s take on this is that implicitly it may be suggestive of trying to get foreign powers to delay their vote in the UN regarding Israel via Jared’s instructions might amount to an offence since President Trump was not yet sworn in office and Obama was still president. Does anyone have a take on this? I think it’s crap.

If that was all they had, Flynn would never have pleaded guilty. Mueller had Flynn cold on something much bigger (which may have had zero to do with Trump), and he pled to one false-statement count as part of a plea bargain which included testimony against someone higher up. (And I doubt it's Trump; my money is on Kushner.)

That “something much bigger” was probably Flynn’s failure to register under the Foreign Relations Act (I believe) as an agent of Turkey. Nothing to do with the election, of course.
