Do you want to talk about Edmund Burke, Russell Kirk, William F. Buckley, James Burnham, or do you think conservatism is just whatever you and Trump say it is? Frankly, there isn’t even anything very interesting, informative, academic, or conservative about talking with someone like yourself. Why? Because really you believe conservatism is whatever Trump and you say it is. Your conservatism is not about protecting the constitution or the rule of law. It’s not about protecting the separation of powers. It is about protecting one man from the law and yourself from the unfolding reality.

Trump’s problem isn’t me. His problem is his character. It used to be that many conservatives said character matters. Apparently, it doesn’t matter to those who put Trumpism above conservatism.

Trumps problem isn't you? No kidding? When did you figure that out? You don't like his tone do ya?

Liberals hate anyone who disagrees with them and when they lose the argument they go for anything they can such as, his hair, his tone, his wealth, he likes ketchup, crude humor and now YOU don't like his character!

It's just deplorable! Right elhombre?

Correct on all accounts. And I’m a Texas gunlover too. I lost all of mine in a tragic boating accident, however.

No. I have no argument with those guys. We defend the Constitution and the rule of law.

Tell me this: do you understand the age old concept of elevating spirit of the law over letter of the law?

Here are the actual legal docs from today for Flynn.

Pled guilty to lying twice to FBI agents (with whom he voluntarily spoke).

https://www.lawfareblog.com/michael-flynn-plea-agreement-documents

The language that’s making such big waves (will testify, cooperate) is boilerplate - language in EVERY deal. Doesn’t mean it’ll happen.

It also talks about making restitution and that isn’t relevant in this situation either. Just part of any standard document.

Nothingburger. Think this ends with Flynn.

This looks interesting, but I have no idea what it means, if anything. Section 8a of Flynn’s plea agreement, the section about cooperating with the special counsel’s office, it states:

“your client acknowledges that your client’s cooperation may include, but will not necessarily be limited to: answering questions; providing sworn written statements; taking government-administered polygraph examination(s); and participating in covert law enforcement activities.”

Then it talks about cooperation regarding any crimes he knows about, and turning over any evidence he has.

Any plea deal says that.

Talking to the FBI is a bad idea without a lawyer who knows his stuff next to you.

Russiagate, the claim of evil Russians ****ing the poor Hildabeast (HDK/Hildabeast Dindu KKKlintler) out of the white house, has been totally debunked, it being shown to be physically impossible for anybody to have taken the amount of data in the amount of time in question over the internet.

Nonetheless, the story we now see about HDK and Brrack Obozo taking bribes to allow Russian control of a major share of US uranium production certainly seems to be real enough.

Also seemingly real are the claims of Russian spetznaz groups rounding up democrats in democrat-controlled US cities for some sort of a scientific study of primitive people at the University of Moscow. As one of those spetznaz officers explained to me, the thing is similar to the "Naked and Afraid" show which has been seen on television. They're putting the democrats in some sort of a rock quarry with bananas to eat and water to drink and just their hands to see if they're capable of fashioning stone tools on their own.

“Trump’s problem isn’t me. His problem is his character.”

Trump’s problem (if he has one) is brainwashed people like you, who have swallowed the fake news portrayal of him.

If Trump had simply decided back in 2015 to run as a Democrat on a Democrat party platform, the fake news MSM, Hollywood, Leftist Academia, the Deep State Uniparty, the Globalist Cheap Labor Express, the DC Swamp, the GLBTQ community - no one would have smeared him - first as a buffoon, then as an orange clown, a bigot, a xenophobe, a sexist, a modern day Hitler, the AntiChrist, a violence provoking white supremacist, a traitor, a sexual predator, a psycho, a war monger with the impulse control of an 11 year old - and worse.

None of these characteristics would ever have been attributed to Trump if he had run as a Democrat, because he would have been one of them - and unlike Republicans, Democrats never eat their own.

But Trump ran as a Republican, because at least ostensibly (if not sincerely) the Republicans stand for limited government, law and order, America first, and the constitution.

And even running as Republican, Trump might have been spared the Left’s scorn, had he buckled under and run as a RINO, but no...

Trump had the temerity to run as a true conservative - the last thing in the world the uniparty establishment ever expected, wanted or was prepared for.

The rest is history - a declaration of total war against Trump from the scorned Left - the ultimate character assassination.

And you say his problem is his character? Come to think of it, maybe you are right; Trump’s problem IS his character - his strength of character. The Left hates him for it.

Fortunately, the effect of the Leftist brainwashing will wear off in time, as, one by one, their characterizations of him prove false, and Trump will get back his good name.

Shame on the Left for doing this to Trump...and shame on the fools who believe the fake news.

We need to put 10 million folks into DC in protest immediately...I’m not saying weaponized...at least not yet. But I think we are almost past time in terms of insisting as patriots that our government clean itself up along constitutional standards. Otherwise the next protest.......:(

When Trump defended Bill Clinton, did you think he had good character? When he wrote a book bragging about adultery, was that the type of story you associate with good character? When he attacked Ronald Reagan, was that what you think of as good character? When he defended Hillary and supported Obama, was that just me being brainwashed when I was disgusted?

You see he has a biography that is disgusting and indicative of bad behavior. But you're in denial. I get that. You're a in awe and hero worshiper.

The “conservative brand” was ruined by George W Bush, his father before him, McLame, the Cheap Labor Express, GOP globalists & their feckless media brethren like George Will & Krauthammer and other Never-Trumpturds.

It’s been further ruined by the likes of Jeff Blake, McTurtle, LyinRyan (will never trust that snake) and the GOPe-turds in Congress that gave Obama pretty much every bit of spending he wanted.

Meanwhile our Congressional “leaders” who promised us A)they were conservative & B) that they would stand up to Obama C)if we just gave them all 3 branches of Fedzilla they would get to keep all their “conservative” promises only to fail miserably when they had to chance to keep their promises & caved to Obama when it counted.

Fake conservatives ruined the “conservative brand”. Donald Trump is a vast & much needed improvement over the “conservative brand”.

You may resume caring about “the conservative brand” while Donald Trump & we who support him go about the business of saving our damn country.
