Hum, dec of 16...whom was president then? Ah, the Brown Bomber. So, to determine what was said at that time, exactly, in a meeting between two people, how would the government know what was said, implied or asked for?? Where did this conversation happen.....how about in Trump Tower. IOW, the Brown Bomber was monitoring conversations between the staff of an incoming president and others.
BTW, it is an informational filing, not an indictment so they at least they did not have to listen to the grand jurors laughing about it.

Is lying to a policeman?
I thought that that lying was a "crime" when you were under oath (i.e. in a courtroom after being sworn in.)
What you say to a policeman / investigator "can be used against you in a court of law" and you would be taking a risk to lie, but is that really a "crime?"
