That said, reading the Andrea Tantaros, Gretchen Carlson and Roginski suits against FOX, there was nothing, absolutely nothing compared to the Lauer/Halperin/Weinstein triple play perversion.
Roger Ailes asked Andrea to “spin around” and that was the extent of the harassment. Which for the entertainment business is kind of expected. No dropping trow, showing genitals, or all the stuff that Bill Clinton and the Arkansas State Troopers made famous. Proves to me it was just about money.
Carlson said Roger ‘hugged her or kissed her’ and there was nothing else. It seemed harmless compared to the mayhem we are now seeing, like the scary Russ Simmons kidnap rape.
Carlson was on the way out at Fox, so it is hard to be a believer in her harassment, more like a way to make money. Had her ratings not dropped and she was still with a show, this would have never happened. Now a female professional fails and harassment is the reason, the road to $20 million.
