Reports: The U.S. Embassy Move to Jerusalem is Happening

Israeli media is reporting the U.S. Embassy move from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is imminent.

Israeli officials  are reportedly expecting US President Donald Trump to make a landmark announcement in the coming days regarding the move of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and recognizing the highly-sensitive holy city as Israel’s capital, according to a local TV report on Wednesday.

The report comes just a day after Trump’s vice-president Mike Pence stated that the President was “actively considering” how and when to move the US embassy.

According to the Hadashot report, the move could take place as soon as Sunday and Trump is instructing officials to prepare for it.

The news comes just one day after Vice President Mike Pence gave a speech at the UN, commemorating the 70th anniversary of Israel's foundation as a country.

70 years ago we recognized the future of the Jewish people lay in a state they could call their own, & today @POTUS is working tirelessly to strengthen the historic friendship b/w the US & Israel. If the world knows nothing else, the world will know this: America STANDS w/ Israel pic.twitter.com/6OiAO0AHVq— Vice President Mike Pence (@VP) November 28, 2017

President Trump promised to move the embassy on the campaign trail. Earlier this year, the White House officially postponed the decision to do so and did not indicate when a change would be made.

"While President Donald J. Trump signed the waiver under the Jerusalem Embassy Act and delayed moving the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, no one should consider this step to be in any way a retreat from the President's strong support for Israel and for the United States-Israel alliance," the White House released in a June statement. "President Trump made this decision to maximize the chances of successfully negotiating a deal between Israel and the Palestinians, fulfilling his solemn obligation to defend America's national security interests.  But, as he has repeatedly stated his intention to move the embassy, the question is not if that move happens, but only when."

No word from the White House yet about this latest development.

”I notice that since Trump came on the scene, some conservatives are trying to use the terms “globalist” to mean liberal. The two things are not related. There are right and left supporters of globalism and right and left opponents of globalism.”

I agree that on the officially liberal, or leftist end of the political spectrum there are some in favor of globalism and some opposed. On the right, though, I think that the globalists are all concentrated in the nominally conservative, but actually very liberal RINO subset. It would be more accurate to say that all globalists are liberals, but not all liberals are globalists, and certainly no conservatives (true conservatives, that is) are globalists.

Not so fast.....The White House urged caution in response to the report later on Wednesday press secretary Sarah Sanders saying it was “premature” ahead of a decision deadline........”This is a premature report. We have nothing to announce,” press secretary Sarah Sanders

Iranians base is just 8 mils south of Damascus, Syria.... The agreed on joint statement ‘last week’... that no military solution is possible in Syria and that there are ‘only’ diplomatic options... would not give Trump room to do anything other than make the bases a part of the ultimate diplomatic discussions in progress and actually are on the table with those now.

So it’s not correct saying nothings being done.....diplomacy takes time when you’re putting a nation back together as is being done in Syria.

Further..Israel is by no means “swinging in the wind” as you stated.

.
It isn’t Iran’s war, nor DJT’s war, but Yehova’s war that will be fought.

Chill!

But it is so much fun to stirr the pot here with anti-DJT horse manure.

Being against globalism has only been popular in mainstream conservatism since Obama took office. If you go back to the 90’s or the Dubya era, most conservatives were globalists and those who dissented, like Pat Buchanan and the paleocons, were expelled from the movement and condemned.

A lot of Freepers are still globalists. There is a lot of confusion about this because Trump’s campaign brought paleo-right/alt-right people back into a kind of alliance with globalist leaning “mainstream” conservatives of the sort who supported the Iraq War. There is still a divide, it’s just somewhat muted now compared to last couple of decades.

A lot of globalists on the right and left are in denial about being globalists. That’s true of the kind of conservatives who want an American Empire and it’s also true of the kind of liberals who want “humanitarian” wars. In fact, the globalist establishment sells the same war or other policy to the right and left with different justifications.

That’s ridiculous and makes no sense. Many globalists are pro-Israel. Many people who are pro-Israel support Muslim immigration to Western countries. The Anti-Defamation League would be an example.

Why are you so negative?

Not negative. Skeptical. We've heard this before.

You got me, I am pro-Israel and against the idiots who support the murderous, psychotic, pathetic Palestinians. Israel is a sovereign country that isn't going to disappear and its capital is Jerusalem and that is where the U.S. embassy should be. To hell with the Gaza Strip, the Muslim Brotherhood, the “Muslim Street” (whatever the f—k that CNN buzzword really means), antisemites, and whatever subset of globalists who don't agree with the embassy move to Jerusalem.

And no, I am not Jewish.

Meanwhile DJT has not said or done anything to discourage the Iranians from setting up forward bases just 20 miles from the Golan, so they are moving full steam ahead ... leaving Israel swinging in the wind, or having to take on the Iranians, the Syrians, Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Palestinians alone - all with Russian air cover.

Israel will deal with it, with or without US support. Given the history of Russian platforms vs the IAF, whether flown by Arabs or Russian pilots in disguise, I doubt they're in a rush to take on Israel. In the air. Actually Israel has OK relations with the Russians. Give them Syria, I doubt they care much about the Arabs or Persians in the region.

When I think of Trump lately, it’s like he’s hitting the Democrats with Wing Chun chain punches where you can’t even see his fists moving.

Sorry, but I’ve been in the Bullion Depository, and it’s nothing close to what yefragetuwrabrumuy describes. It’s enough of a bunker for its purpose, but the KY nearby counties are not filled with potentially hostile Muslims with heavy weapons, rockets, missiles, etc.

Its really not about Israel,It’s about America. (even though it is about Israel, somewhat).
America should be able to put its embassy wherever the heck it wants.

Pastor Hagee(?) prophesied this would happen a few months ago; he’s plugged in with Trump’s inner circle(and God’s:)).
