A friend of mine has an interesting theory that NBC’s management was working behind the scenes to make the allegation against Lauer public so they could terminate his $25M/year contract.
The left was seriously P.O.ed at Lauer for not, in their opinion, doing enough to attack Trump and defend Clinton during one of the Presidential debates. The left will cheer his demise even more than Trump.
