I had the 7mm low-powered rifle but the damned thing just wouldn't stop a truck.
News Flash! New York will now require trucks to wear hunter orange.
Sounds like alcohol to me.
Who the heck in a HUNTING situation (as opposed to, say, a chaotic wartime or clearly “life-in-danger” defense situation) shoots at anything they have not 100% positively identified and have a clean shot at?
I can understand a miss that holes someone downrange, but in some of these cases, certain idiots need the book thrown at them.
One of the reasons I stopped hunting many years ago - way too many nut cases out there....could tell some stories...
It’s sad how many people are incompetent with simple things like distinguishing deer/dog/Dodge.
No. Some counties/areas are shotgun. Most have reverted back to rifle in the past decade. This might halt this and reverse the progress made. Leave it to tards to screw it up for the rest.

In my hunter education class, they mentioned cows. They didn’t say anything about not shooting trucks, though.
Officials confirmed that he state is now rethinking its program that allows blind hunters to have a limited rifle hunting season.
If they did shoot each other, that at least would be poetic justice. But too many I read about are of folks on their own property minding their own business when a stranger trespasses and shoots before genuinely appraising their target.
Its amazing how deadly accurate some hunters can be when theyre shooting at anything but a deer.
It was bad enough that hunter mistook a woman for a deer, but he should have realized his mistake while gutting her.
