Court documents involving Leigh Corfman, who says that Alabama senatorial candidate Roy Moore tried to engage in a sexual encounter with her when she was 14, raise questions about the timeline and narrative of Corfmans accusations against the politician.
Those accusations were first publicly disclosed in a Washington Post story citing Corfman and her mother, Nancy Wells, as saying that in early 1979, Roy Moore, then a 32-year-old assistant district attorney, allegedly asked Wells to watch her fourteen-year-old daughter while Wells went into a courtroom for a custody hearing.
Corfman claims that Moore asked the young Corfman for her number. Days later, she says, he picked her up around the corner from her house in Gadsden, the Post story states, referring to her mothers home in Gadsden. Corfmans parents were divorced.
The first private meeting was arranged after Moore called Corfman on her home phone at her mothers house, Corfman alleges.
Corfman says that Moore took her to his home, put his arm around her, and kissed her. Corfman told the Post that she had asked Moore to drive her home because she was feeling nervous and he obliged.
Soon after, she says, he called again, and picked her up again at the same spot, the Post story reports, without providing an exact timeline.
That is when Corfman says that Moore drove her back to his house, touched her body, and guided her hand to his underwear. Corfman says that she yanked her hand back.

I was confused about the odd wording of the inscription in the yearbook... until I realized it was meant to be high school poetry:
To a sweeter more beautiful girl I could not say, ‘Merry Christmas.’ Love, Ray”
That was what was originally written and then it was altered.
Gloria Allred even read the name “Ray” in her press conference.
Key Witnesses ‘Completely Bust’ Story Of Beverly Young Nelson And Gloria Allred
GADSDEN, Ala. On Monday evening, the Moore Campaign unveiled statements from key witnesses that completely bust the story of Beverly Nelson and Gloria Allred and further reveal an unconscionable bias on the part of state and national press to hide the truth from Alabama voters who will undoubtedly see through the “fake news” and elect Judge Moore for the man that they have always known him to be.
According to a former waitress, Olde Hickory House required employees to be 16 years old. Nelson claims she was 15 when she started.
According to two former employees, the dumpsters were on the side of the building. Nelson claimed that they were in the back.
Olde Hickory House sat right off of the four-lane highway and had a wrap-around porch with lights all around it. Nelson claimed that the surroundings were “dark and isolated.”
Rhonda Ledbetter, who worked at Olde Hickory House for almost 3 years, states that the earliest it closed was at 11 p.m. but she believes it was open until midnight. She is certain it did not close at 10:00 because Goodyear was next door, and employees came to eat when their shift ended at 10 p.m. Nelson claims her story occurred after the restaurant closed at 10 p.m.
It is unlikely that there was an entrance from the back of the parking lot, which Nelson claimed existed. Multiple sources have claimed that everyone parked on the sides of the building because there wasnt much room behind the restaurant, according to Rhonda not enough room to turn around.
Renee Schivera stated that a neighborhood backed up to the parking lot and it was adjacent to the backyards of peoples houses, so she did not see how there would have been a back entrance as it would have gone through someones yard.
Nelson claimed that Judge Roy Moore came in almost every night and sat at the counter, but former employees state that customers at the counter were served by the bartender or short order cook - not served by the waitresses and had no reason to interact with the wait staff. Additionally, two former waitresses and two former patrons state they never saw Judge Moore come into the restaurant.

Time for Team Mitch to hit the showers..
Couldn’t happen to a nicer couple.
Could a case be made for RICO given the blatant collusion between a politically motivated corrupt attorney and politically motivated corrupt media to throw this election?
The real truth is not that Judge Moore did all these things that were alleged to have happened, but that none of the accusations ever would stand up in a court of law.
Yes it is.
Easy dear, this is not the yearbook accuser. This is the first one who was on NBC yesterday after they took 3 weeks to coach her.
Yes.
It’s probably Kay, not Ray is my guess.
The Post further did not tell readers that as a result of the joint petition to change custody, the court ordered the 14-year-old Corfman to move to her fathers house starting on March 4, 1979. Court documents show the fathers address in Ohatchee, and not in Gadsden, where her mother lived and where Corfman says the meetings with Moore took place.
This would mean that from the court hearing on February 21, 1979, until Corfman was ordered to move to her fathers house, Moore would only have had 12 days, including the day of the court hearing, to have repeatedly called Corfman at her mothers Gadsden house, arrange two meetings, and attempt another. Moore has strenuously denied the accusations.
While that timeline is theoretically possible, the Moore campaign stressed in a press conference today it is unlikely. . .
Breitbart News reviewed the custody and divorce documents in full. The custody arrangement allowed for reasonable rights of visitation for Wells, including on alternate weekends and full custody for one week starting on December 24. However, that one week of custody in December does not fit into the timeline of Moore allegedly arranging meetings days after the February hearing. . .
I’ve read a few places that Corfman had accused three different pastors of sexual advancements. I haven’t seen it on any more mainstream sites. That would put an end to Corfman’s credibility if it’s true. I am just not sure it can be confirmed.
Well hello Dolly.
So did Roy Moore ever know this 14 year old Corfman?
This was an Obama inspired takedown facilitated by McConnell working with the WaPo and was Fake News from the start.
“Ive read a few places that Corfman had accused three different pastors of sexual advancements. I havent seen it on any more mainstream sites. That would put an end to Corfmans credibility if its true. I am just not sure it can be confirmed.”
This is my question as well. It sure seems like a hit job by the Uniparty to keep Roy Moore out of office but I would like some specific cases to point to when people bring up the subject. Anyone have actual links to articles about Leigh Corfman’s disproven prior claims?
I watched the interview yesterday and she appeared believable but I also noticed that the reporter didn’t ask her any hard questions. Also, her answer about being paid anything was VERY carefully worded and I felt like she had been coached on exactly how to phrase her response.
I don't want to think about what "Team Mitch" does in the showers ...
Here is background on 4 accusers. One works for the perverts that one knows the one who claimed she was 14. But was actually 17 at the time ? http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3603606/posts
Latest charge : Grad book signature a forgery; http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3604591/posts
someone named Roy or Ray signed it Moore’s last name was added to it. His legal secretary at the time he was a Circuit Court Judge declared it a forgery because her initials; DA, appear with his signature in that year book. Because she would do so to verify his signature only on his court rulings.

Here are comments on afa.net. I certainly don’t believe afa.net would intentionally mislead but I would like to see them support these claims a little better and I would like to hear it from a few other sources too.
“According to this report, Ms. Corfman has made a cottage industry out of making false and slanderous accusations of sexual impropriety against Christian leaders. According to a neighbor, she...went to various churches within our denomination and accused at least three other pastors besides an uncle of ours [of] making sexual advances at her. Each time that she brought it to a District board for Alabama they found her to be uncredible [sic] and she changed her story many times.

AFA is petty well known Christian / family organization. I listen to their Christian radio shows pretty regularly.
Just saw one of Doug Jones Senate Campaign Ads. Not one mention of him being a democrat. His signs don’t give a party affiliation.
