Fox News host Jeanine Pirro was pulled over for speeding in upstate New York after she was clocked going 119 mph in a 65 mph zone.
The New York Daily News reported Pirro was stopped by a state trooper in Tioga County around 1:15 p.m. Sunday.
Pirro, the host of "Justice With Judge Jeanine," said she was on her way to visit her ailing mother but vowed to "pay the consequences."
I had been driving for hours to visit my ailing 89-year-old mom and didnt realize how fast I was driving. I believe in the rule of law and I will pay the consequences, Pirro said in a Fox News Channel statement.
New York's Department of Motor Vehicles says a conviction for going more than 40 mph over the speed limit could put 11 points on a driver's license. Eleven points will lead to a license suspension.
I think there are plenty that can do it.
I used to work in auto parts; lots of great vintage vehicles around. Our boss and daughters were crazy about 300s and Mark IIIs (gorgeous car). Co-worker drove daughter with Lincoln on I70 doing 110 or more. Those were vintage 1970. He didn’t get caught, though.
What's sad is probably how long it's been since you got laid..
If you don't think the Judge is hot then that would explain your problem in Judgement (no pun intended)
Does she have a choice?
Not Guilty!
Between that, and needing some type of passport to go there now days that is not a place Im really worried about getting a ticket in anytime soon.
Beautiful day, light traffic, just enjoying the drive, until the red warning light came on in the rear view mirror.
Immediately slowed down and pulled over.
"You got any idea how fast you were going?"
"Um, no, my first concern was got get over and stop safely, I didn't think to look at the speedometer until I'd slowed down to 65..."
"...but the car doesn't smooth out until 80, and it was pretty smooth."
This was followed by a bit of professional conversation.
He wrote me up for 65 in a 55 zone. Very much appreciated!
Yeah—I was thinking deer as I read this.
They can make a mess of your vehicle at the speed limit...
I had a 1999 Lexus SC 400. I had just dropped off my buddy where he picked up his Porsche 911. He pulled up next to me on the highway and we both punched it. I looked down again and I was up to 110 mph. I immediately backed off because of what the ticket would have cost me, not because the car felt unsafe/uncomfortable.
FYI, the 1998-2000 Lexus SC400 had a 4 liter V8 engine with 24 valves generating 290 HP. The last 3 years they made this model, they finally got it right. Prior to these three years they had 3 valves/cylinder and did not generate as much horsepower. These cars can be bought pretty inexpensive now with low mileage(under 15K on EBAY motors).
Whatever she was driving, I want one.
Speed limit is 80 out on that stretch now I believe, it is past my place down the road in Battle Mountain now. These days the biggest drawback to that is that the truck really starts to suckin the go juice down once you pass the 70-75 zone.
While Ive squeezed 23.5mpg out of it on a trip, I had a stretch coming back from Temecula in a super headwind where it averaged 12.5. That big square front and air dont get along real well :-)
If she wasn’t paying enough attention to her driving to know she was going over 100 mph then she was a danger to everyone on the road. Throw the book at her.
She’s had so much plastic surgery on her face that she looks Chinese.
When You Got It Flaunt It!
My 2017 Audi A4 is governed to max out at 130, though it is capable of doing much more. I went to 100 one day and even though it was as smooth as silk and quiet as a feather, I knew I was going too fast and quickly pulled back. One can’t go 119 and not know you’re going way too fast.
This is outrageous! Trump needs to resign immediately! (/SJW)
Love it!! Thanks for the memories.
’ One foot on brake, and one on her ass, hey....well there’s too much traffic, I can’t pass...
That reminds me of my own personal maxim: no matter how fast you drive someone will always tailgate you.
Just for fun I once let it all hang out in my old E-Type Jaguar 4.2 liter roadster. I chickened out when it hit 139 -- not bad for a 1966 6-cylinder. I knew how fast I was going!
For perspective, I was watching the speeds on Sunday's NASCAR race. Those drivers do 135 or so on the curves and 185-plus on the straightaways. Leather cojones! Danica too.
