Special Counsel Robert Mueller's team investigating whether President Donald Trump sought to obstruct a federal inquiry into connections between his presidential campaign and Russian operatives has now directed the Justice Department to turn over a broad array of documents.
In particular, Mueller's investigators are keen to obtain emails related to the firing of FBI Director James Comey and the earlier decision of Attorney General Jeff Sessions to recuse himself from the entire matter, according to a source who has not seen the specific request but was told about it.
Issued within the past month, the directive marks the special counsel's first records request to the Justice Department, and it means Mueller is now demanding documents from the department overseeing his investigation.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein played key roles in Comey's removal. And Sessions has since faced withering criticism from Trump over his recusal and Rosenstein's subsequent appointment of Mueller.
Mueller's investigators now seek not only communications between Justice Department officials themselves, but also any communications with White House counterparts, the source said. Before this request, investigators asked former senior Justice Department officials for information from their time at the department, ABC News was told.
The latest move suggests the Special Counsel is still actively digging into, among other matters, whether Trump or any other administration official improperly tried to influence an ongoing investigation.

Jeff Sessions needs to step down. He's TOO AFRAID of the Deep State to APPLY THE LAW regardless of ANYTHING ELSE. Sessions is PARALYZED BY FEAR OF THE DEEP STATE! I would be happy with ANY of the top brass at Judicial Watch such as Tom Fitton to take his place. ANY of them!

That’s why everyone is $hit scared of a second SP. One who would, for openers, schedule a proctological exam for Mueller, followed in close order by an indictment.
Sessions behaves as someone under indictment already. Flowing regard for Rosenstein, and the new FBI director is terribly interesting, and the fact that he has recused himself, but not resigned for cause... of clinical impotence to perform his duty in saving the house that is on fire.
If Sessions has been made a seat warmer by the darker forces in the Justice Department and the FBI, they would want his lifeless self to stay put, in the big chair and out of their hair. He can twirl around in it eight hours a day.
If Mueller thinks the firing of an FBI director can constitute a crime, we have a problem. A discredited FBI director no less who BRAGS that he leaked in order to get the special counsel appointed!

Trumps biggest mistake was not announcing the day after his win that his first priority was to put the klintons in prison. The Dems were expecting that, and Trump instead made some conciliatory statements toward Hillary, which were correctly seen as weakness by the DNC. They turned the tables on Trump over night.

To me, Mueller is already an unindicted co-conspirator with Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the Boston Marathon bomber.
The big Culprit is ROSENSTEIN- A rat plant who should have been kicked out on day one.
Mueller just made his “move” and I hope Trump or Sessions fires him ASAP. Mueller had no intention of honestly investigating the fake “dossier” or anything else that would exonerate the Trumps or Kushner. Now he is proving it.

Any one with 3 brain cells to rub together knew this was an OVERT COUP when Sessions recused himself and his DAG Rosenstein appointed a soviet-style special counsel to investigate a newly elected President of the United States. Immediately embroiling Trump in scandal and giving all the fuel needed to his enemies(press, dems, rinos) to question his legitimacy.
Perspective:
We’ve had 8 years of wholesale treason and lawlessness with NO JUSTICE OF ANY KIND and the FIRST MAJOR MOVE made by that diminutive, pimple-d!ck, lowlife, scumbag, Jeff Sessions, was to recuse himself in the face of a rumor started by the deep-state and the Clinton campaign. No evidence of a crime. NONE.
Sure, I’ll buy that for a dollar...Sessions recusal led to all of these pieces falling perfectly into place. Rosenstein and Mueller in charge and at large at the DOJ. If you believe that all this happened by chance you’re a farging moron and you need help.
The special counsel’s reason for being is 3 fold:
1) Embroil the Trump administration with indictments-scandals with the ultimate goal of toppling(impeachment-resignation)
2) Use the SC to bury the mountain of high crime evidence against Hillary & the O’muslim regime.
3) Show the people what happens if you want to go to work for the Trump administration...You’ll be crucified by the propaganda press and indicted by a soviet-style special counsel. Your house raided in the dark of the night by the goose-steppers of the FBI.
I said years ago that there could be no normal transition if Trump miraculously won the election. 28 years of bushes, clintons and o’muslims and the fed govt is FUBAR. Corrupt & politicized. That we would need an in-depth and independent audit...a convention of the states to hold nuremberg-style treason trials and hangings on the national mall.
Just what kind of game is being played?
Mueller has nothing. Time for Sessions to make him show his cards or fire the mutt.

And its all for the purpose of supplying ‘evidence’ for a rat House of Reps to impeach President Trump.
