WASHINGTON – Top scientists in Israel are on the verge of a revolutionary breakthrough, creating a cloak that can render a person invisible.
In their real-world quest for invisibility, scientists at Ben-Gurion University have developed a device that scatters light away from an object so it cannot be detected, making the object invisible to the eye.
Physicists developed the method for concealing objects based on the study of “metamaterials,” which focuses on exploiting and controlling light by examining how it interacts with objects.
Those arrays of minuscule components bend, scatter, transmit or otherwise shape electromagnetic radiation in ways that no natural material can, according to Nature.com.
Bending electromagnetic radiation, such as light, around an object, gives the appearance that the object isn’t there at all, but still can be located by infrared sensors or radar.

Got that right; about 3 years ago I told my wife “NO MORE BLACK DOGS”.
She was down south about a year ago and called me and said she was given a BLACK & TAN German Shepard puppy that was found wandering in an industrial area.
I worry about my boys and girls when they go out after dark, it’s the same time the bears and mountain lions are out there.
Damn dog is more BLACK than tan, can’t see her for spit.
Just give me a list of who I need to kill.

I used to take lots of pictures of my BIG JACK ( he died 2 years ago), I probably have 250 to 300 pictures of him.
The only thing (occasionally) you can see is his two dark brown eyes or his teeth and tongue.
Still love that old boy.
