“Chris Christie Would Have Made A Better Attorney General Than Jeff Sessions”

Hard to think of someone who wouldn’t.

Not sure that a wishy washy guy on guns would have been the right choice either.

A week-old meatloaf would make a better A.G. than Sessions

Yes, time to retire Sessions, put Christie or anyone in as attorney general.

He “would have” made a better AG? He still would. I wonder if PDJT has done any succession planning in the event Sessions has to go.

Christie did put Jared Kushner's dad in jail, so hiring him as AG might have made Thanksgiving dinner a bit awkward for Trump.

STOP IT!!! AG Sessions is pro-Constitution, very careful and methodical. His goal isn't political, and won't pursue hillary until the evidence is all lined up and beyond doubt. Until rogue judges lose their grip on the nation, he has to deal with that as a priority. His speech yesterday indicates that's exactly what he's doing.

I like it a lot that AG Sessions isn't following marching orders from the Executive Branch. A more valid concern is why are Jared and Ivanka still on the WH team.

He never would have been confirmed. Just my opinion.

A flaming bag of dog poop would have been a better AG than Jeff Sessions.

With all the damage he is doing to our nation and the Trump presidency...why are there still FReepers who sjpport him.

He is NOT an honorable man. He is a back-stabbing weasel.

Christi would have made himself the center of every story. No President is going to tolerate that for very long. Trump was right not to pick him - for anything.

Chris Cristie would have mucked in up in a different way as he has mucked up everything he's been involved with - from the governorship to his narcissistic run for president.

I love all the certainty about Sessions. We finally have an attorney general who isn’t a grandstanding, corrupt, buffoon like Holder, yet conservatives refuse to be patient and give him time to work.

This fat cristy lost my respect when he spent $175,000 in an attack ad against conservative Tom Tancredo in the Colorado gubernatorial election. Don't think much of his brand of politics.

At this point, I think you could say that about any name you choose. Trump should know better than to put a Senator in any executive position. They’re just the wrong breed for that line of work.

Chris Christie was in the doghouse after the election, and I’m not sure we know the whole story (DJT does not throw people under the bus).

Jeff Sessions was owed (something), and, knowing what we know now about the composition of the Senate, he may have been the only confirmable person who had served in an AG role, albeit at the state level.
