Fox News’ Tucker Carlson took on a Democrat Thursday over a new gun control measure targeting muzzle loaders.
Carlson asked New York City Council member Jumaane Williams, “So how many crimes do you think in the last, I don’t know, 100 years have been committed with muzzle loaders?”
Williams answered, “Well, once this new muzzle is created, we just don’t know. But, what you do a great job in, and it works for you, so I’m not saying you should stop. You do a great job of focusing on these single things…”
Tucker responded, “Oh you mean the facts? Yeah that is kind of my trade.”
Williams said, “No, it’s not facts it’s just–avoidance of a conversation about guns. And you do it very well.”
The Daily Caller co-founder responded, “Well actually, I’d very much like to have a conversation about guns.”
“So here you have Gabby Giffords’ group saying that we need to regulate a rifle, a firearm, they clearly know nothing about,” the Fox host continued. “A muzzle loader is loaded from the muzzle, from the end of the barrel, from the hole where the bullet comes out, and you put it in the powder, and then the wadding, and then the round and the whole thing takes like a minute. So it’s not probably going to be responsible for a lot of mass shootings.”
I noticed that the guy was sporting a “Stay Woke” button.
Right then and there I knew this guy was an intellectual heavyweight.

They want to ban the culture, to ban the talk and videos and the first amendment talk on guns, period. There is a shaping of a narrative against guns and armament that is meant to transform people into sheeple uncritical of corrupt politicians or foreign nations or terrorists looting the country,
Self defense is going to be a banned word. Poaching is going to be the norm with unlimited government ability
Stay woke is soft terrorist talk. The church shooter and Vegas shooter wanted people to stay woke.
Make sure no one tells them about the Dragon Claw air rifle that comes in .50 cal and has reservoir that allows six shots before needing a recharge and doesn’t need a silencer, they’ll pee their panties!

It’s pretty obvious that some group has looked around, and noticed that the overwhelming number of muzzle loaders are owned by Civil War re-enactors, and decided that these formidable weapons must be removed from the hands of such obvious “racists”.
That interview was so funny. The minute I saw the “stay woke” button, I knew we were entering clown territory.
The guy was completely ignorant about firearms. The look on his face was hilarious when Tucker told him it takes a full minute to take one shot with the gun he’s so worried about. Tucker is a hunter and gun enthusiast; only an idiot would take him on with this subject.
See, that's just the issue. It's only makes sense that if we want to decrease gun crime, we need to outlaw those high capacity powder horns.....

I did the same thing when I saw that 100 years thing. My brain seized up a second before it said, 'yeah' that makes sense. You know that this is the last year that any significant portion of high school graduating classes will have been born in the 20th century? Makes me feel old.

Actually I was thinking of two cases, one in the 1970s and another in the 1980s, where cap and ball revolvers were used in shootings. I read about the incidents on a gun forum a couple of years ago.
