because not everyone goldbricks bad experiences and a lot of people, including victims who you would imagine in your head would be strongly indignant and defiant, wants to deal with the ordeal of filing reports, complaints, and everything thing that goes along with lawsuits or criminal investigations. Some people just want problems to go away.

I get this. I do.

But if they wanted to problems to go away then - then why do they want the problems to come back now? It’s too convenient. Are they not just jumping on the “me too” bandwagon?

yes. Yes they are. It’s a bandwagon.

It seems twisted, and in a way it is and there is room to criticize someone without the will and fortitude to endure the proper legal grievance process and then years later find it easier to feel empowered by a wave of social change where perpetrators are not being protected as much and victims are not being shamed as much.
