“We cannot reach a unanimous decision,’’ the jury said in a note just before lunch on Thursday. “Nor are we willing to move away from our strong convictions.”

Yep. How could we expect a conviction when a juror does not know what a Senator is.

Hi.

“The fix was in all along.”

Yep. The predictions on FR were for acquittal or a hung jury.

Sad. One law for me, another law for thee.

It’s Jersey.

Nobody wanted to die by finding him guilty.

I’m sure some Soprano told them that, too.

According to one juror, it was 10-2 for not guilty.

[[I think he’ll be found guilty though. He will go on trial again with a new jury.]]

I say his trial be moved to alabama court ‘for fair trial purposes’

Juries often don’t have the brightest bulbs on them.

If it were roy moore- and the same accusations and evidence-those same 10 would find him guilty

If a Republican gets indicted, he is forced to resign, but a Democrat actually goes to trial and still won’t resign.

Wait ‘til he gets to his Senate ethics hearing - the judge kept testimony about his trips to Pedophile Island out of the trial - nothing will keep it out of Senate procedure.....

I see it as a good thing. If he’s convicted, another rat takes his place and is near certain to win.

The DSCC says it would back him for reelection, if he’s the nominee Republicans have a chance. Even a 40% chance of getting the seat is worth more to me than seeing him in prison. YMMV. Pretty much every democrat in Congress belongs in a concentration camp.

The good news for the jurors... they all get a free ride down to the Dominican Republic to have sex with 12 year old hookers, courtesy of the DNC.
