I’m curious as to just how long it takes to re-load and get a second shot off with a muzzle loader if you’re well practiced.

Standard for troops in the Civil war was 3 aimed shots per minute but the average for a sustained rate in combat was 1-2 per minute.

Rockin n rollin with a muzzleloader is about one shot every three minutes.

I believe the milita requirement for 1776 was 15 rounds in 3 3/4 minutes.
