The thing I find fascinating about the whole “Moore must withdraw because of the seriousness of the charges” deal, is how quiet everyone is about good old Bob Menendez (D) being on trial for accepting bribes from a guy convicted of paying him bribes. Not only are there not calls for him to resign, Republican senators are testifying to his character (not the lack thereof), and there are some who urge him not to resign even if he is convicted (so that Republican Christie cannot appoint his replacement.
There are just as many crooked Republicans as there are democrats. Remember all the sex dirt that came out on Republicans during the Clinton impeachment? A house speaker had to resign. That’s why they protect their own but try to destroy a man who’s trying to get in the Senate that they don’t like.
Moore won’t protect the creeps.
Even worse, that no one called on Ted Kennedy to resign after killing a girl. He certainly wasn’t blameless in that accident. That is far worse than any of the accusations from these women from almost 40 years ago.
