This same woman says that she got in the car with Moore and when he went after her, he had all the doors locked and she could not get out...This was 1977...Cars did NOT have lock buttons that lock all the doors from the driver’s side until the early eighties...She could’ve unlocked the door and got out...
Just heard this on Rush...
This is a slanderous lie. These malicious lies are not exemt from libel damage recovery. The Suit is now in preparation. It will cost millions but will be fun to watch. This rush to judgement is exposing many to horrible future embarrassment.
Actually, my 1970 GM with power locks locked all the doors with one switch on the driver door. It’s power windows that didn’t have a single switch to control them all at once.
Cars did NOT have lock buttons that lock all the doors from the drivers side until the early eighties
Some did.
Most didn't.
I thought I heard her say he reached over and locked her door. What I was wondering at that time was why did she not unlock it quickly and get out?
I’ll have to go back and hear again exactly how she said it. A car that old, even if it did automatic locks, they likely had the little knob on the top so you could pull it up to unlock it.
Or maybe she meant (and Rush understood it as) that from his position near the passenger he reach over (reached behind him) and locked the door.
CHILD SAFETY door locks (that prevent children in the BACK seat from opening their doors) came on the scene in the early eighties. This is different from automated locking of ALL doors from the drivers position. Locking the doors from the drivers position does NOT prevent the passengers from being able to unlock/open their doors from their position.
And again, CHILD SAFETY DOOR LOCKS are only for rear doors, NOT from passenger doors.
